Great product
I waited before I could use my microphone (TLM 107) with this shockmount the sturdiness of it to protect my microphone lol I feel safe now

Expensive but necessary for the Neumann TLM 102
When I got my 102, I got a similar looking shock mount for less than half the price of this one. It served it's purpose but felt a little cheap and most importantly, it was like a cage around the mic. The 102 is a short little microphone and most shock mounts surround this mic. This Sennheiser shock mount is basically made for the 102 in that the front is open. It feels and looks great. Pricey for sure but this mic almost requires a good shock mount - I tried it on a floor mic stand and it picks up every little movement.

Great looking - had to change the connector to my arm swivel
The look of it is really cool with my Neumann mic. I love that. I also love how steady it keeps the mic. I formally used a tightened ring around my old mic and it did the job but would get jostled around if I moved the arm swivel. This shock mount seems to keep mine reasonably safe from being hit by anything unless I really hit the arm swivel hard. Let's hope not. Upon arrival it still didn't fit my arm swivel mic holder, I had to change the black grip on the end. Luckily this shock mount and my old ring holder can be swapped out so I did and it's holding up well.

Sturdy, well made.
Fits my Neumann TLM 103. The mount is well made and sturdy. It does take a little coaxing to get the threads to start on the mounting nut. There are compression rings in the mounting assembly and I have to push the mic into the mount and turn the nut at the same time....

Expensive, but a great addition to your TLM 102
This thing is expensive. But it's totally worth it. If you own a TLM 102, this is not only a beautiful addition to the mic, but a fully functional shockmount too. Made in Germany, Neumann makes great stuff. This is no exception!
