Good Practice Bipod - NOT close to Harris quality.
I bought this to use as a temporary practice bipod and it works well for that purpose. For the price, it's a good value especially since it comes with the Podlock handle and a rail mount adapter. It's decent for what it is -- a $35 Made in China bipod. Now with that said; THIS IS NOT EQUIVALENT TO A MADE IN USA HARRIS BIPOD. If you've been using Harris bipods for years, don't expect this to be "the real deal" as another reviewer stated, because it is not.For starters, the dimensions are different. The legs are closer together giving you a narrower footprint however the base that sits under the stock is wider than a Harris. The podlock collar is too thick, so if your swivel studs are close together like on an HS Precision stock, you cannot mount it on the front stud like normal without the collar of the podlock hitting the rear stud. You will need to remove the rear stud or mount it on the rear stud only. The attachment tension knob screw is too long so the round knob sticks out well below the legs when they are folded up.The clamping mechanism with the two ears that pinch onto the swivel stud is flimsy and they don't stay together like a Harris when installing the bipod. There's a difference in the metal quality, the Chinese metal is softer and the legs bend easily when loading especially when the legs are extended. When fully extended, the legs wobble a bit. If you're used to or are expecting the stiffness of a Harris, this might bother you. Some people are getting the "swivel" feature confused. Harris uses that term as well but what they mean when they say "swivel", is the bipod will "tilt" side to side (10 o'clock to 2 O'clock) for when the legs are on uneven ground, you can tilt the rifle to level it out. Don't be confused by this, it does not pan back and forth across the horizon like an old machine gun bipod.I'm not bashing this product. It's probably one of the better imported Harris bipod copies out there and it will be fine for a casual day at the range on a low recoiling caliber rifle. My intention was to clear up some of the deceiving reviews that claim it's identical and just as good as the Harris.

Great product and surprised how well made.
Ok... the real deal... And I work at a gun shop. Seriously..I usually run Harris on everything I have and was shopping for a budget back up set. After reading many reviews for hours picking a budget set? I chose this set. And I was very pleased to find them made very well. And loving my Harris's so much, I was skeptical in my purchase. I was very pleased when I opened the box and inspected the pods. Yea.. kind of floored actually.. they are very well made and I actually plan on getting more of this exact set.Yea.. I'm pleased with it for sure. Very well made. And best? Not 100+ bucks. For the price? Yea.. get this set... you'll be as surprised as I was when you actually see them.Another thing I love? The locking swivel lever. I actually prefer this over my Harris knob that I can never get tight enough to keep my 6.5 or my 300 to stop pivoting on. Unless I put pliers on it. Witch I'd never do to my Harris's.Yea... I'm seriously pleased with this set.

excellent product
this bipod is great- it swivels, and is easy to use, and it is solid. it does have a sling stud on it, but with the handle for the swivel, it doesn't really work because it digs into my shoulder. that is the only short coming. It is quick to install, and you could carry it in your pack if you wanted to hunt with it.

It works well
If you are going to hike a bit or shoot free hand it makes the rifle heavier. If you are going to setup in a position and wait for your shot it works well. The extra weight on my 270 might help a bit with recoil. If I were hiking a ways I might look at the composite ones just for the weight issue.

Very impressed, great deal and quality
I was skeptical at the price - I have had to loctite screws on other bipods so they didn't come loose and break while shooting, this one was good. The overall finish is very decent and it feels to be solidly built. I have used it 2 times in the field (dirt and grass terrain) and it has worked very well, tilt lock and everything works - QD mount works great too. All the features of more expensive brand names at a 1/4 of the price. Very good deal for the price.

Good value for the money.
At this price point the value for me is really good. Made well enough to handle some varmint and hog love and a little range time. Mounts easily and solidly, and allows for gun roll - I don't know what else you really want for this number of dollars. Good product.

Best budget bipod?
I was honestly surprised at the quality for the price!! It solidly made and functions really well. The swivel function works perfectly and the legs are even spring loaded so they pop out when you push the release. I really think this might be the best bipod in this price range
