Just buy it. This aftermarket EKTORP couch cover set is literally perfect. Beautifully made of cotton fabric which fits the cushions and the couch like a glove. Transformed my 20-year-old couch to looking like new again. Gives the impression it will hold up over years of washings. Would buy again and highly recommended.

Perfect fit for my 2005 Ektorp couch that's still holding up 20 years later. Just like the original IKEA cover, the base is challenge to put on because of the snug fit, but the final product is beautiful.

Me (looking even more bedraggled than usual): Could you help me with something? My husband: Sure, what? Me: I need to hold up something really heavy and wet outside. My husband: Um, what exactly do you need to hold up? Me: Well, it's a really big piece of material. My husband: Why? What material? Me: Oh... I decided to tie-dye our sofa. My husband: ... Me: So, um, could you help? It keeps slipping when I throw paint at it. My husband: ... Me: ... My husband: Right, let's do it. Me (unvoiced): Phew! We had a sad old dark gray Ektorp cover and I wanted something much more cheerful. I looked on Amazon for bright colors but then saw the white cover here and figured I could make it as colorful as I wanted if the material were strong enough, free of anti-stain treatments, and had enough cotton in it. Some kind folks answered those questions and now I have the world's most colorful sofa :-) I have to touch up a couple of bare spots on the cushions (it's hard to get even coverage on something this unwieldy!), but I'm impressed with the quality and strength of this cover. It stood up to my plans exceedingly well! I also learned that, while I understand their function intellectually, in practice I have a problem with the actual application of neutral colors... But as far as the product goes, I'm super happy!

This is good quality fabric, true to the color in the picture and does fit the Ikea chair/couch and ottoman. Only complaint is it is a little tight so getting the pieces on was more work than my Ikea covers but doable. It is a little short to the ground...doesn't hit the floor like the Ikea covers do = just overall tight. if it shrinks in the wash it would be hard pressed to fit anymore. I would easily buy it again though because the color option was so great and Ikea isn't offering anything like it. All three pieces match in color and fabric perfectly. Very bright and happy color of blue.

THE RATING SHOULD BE NEGATIVE stars! This cover WAS NOT MADE FOR THIS LOVESEAT! LOOK AT THE PICTURE! The material is NOT THE WIDTH OF THE LOVESEAT! IT IS SHORT 10 INCHES OVERALL IN WIDTH. AS FOR THE SEAT CUSHIONS THEY WERE SHORT 4 INCHES OVERALL IN WIDTH. The sad part is, I used this company in 2021 WITHOUT ISSUE and in THREE SHORT YEARS, their quality is GARBAGE! SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY, DO NOT BUY THIS!

Quality I would say is a good grade quality the issue I had the sofa covers were very small did not fit my couch in anyway

I highly recommend this item if you are looking for a replacement cover for the IKEA Ektorp line. It is well made and available at a reasonable price point. My order arrived within the stated delivery window, was well packed, and easy to install.

If you’re looking to replace your Ektorp covers, these are the ones to get! I had the white Ektorps from IKEA for almost 4 years and when I decided to get new ones they didn’t make them anymore. Grr. If you’re considering the IKEA Upland covers for your Ektorp couches—don’t bother. They are too big and the material is thin and cheap-feeling. But these replacement covers are a PERFECT fit. The material is thick like the original. I can’t speak for how they’ll hold up in the wash. I used to wash my Ektorps 3x a year and they held up wonderfully! Maybe there’s another review with that info.

Needed a new cover but as ikea no longer makes these, I came here. Didn’t know what to expect but it arrived today and it’s the same fabric as the original cover, fits the loveseat really well, all cushion covers fit correctly and overall it’s really good quality. I couldn’t be happier.
