Best value for Money love the quality grip is really good and it look good. It is bit heavy so if you not big fan of heavy mechanical pencil I wont recommend this to you but if you like heavy pens or pencils go for it you won't regret it

OK, I'm a mechanical pencil nerd . . . That being said, this is the best mechanical pencil I've ever owned. I actually researched various ones and this one always seems to come out on top. I now know why. It works flawlessly, has a decent weight and feel (it's actually metal, not plastic), and the point retracts back into pencil when you press the clip so no more getting poked through your pocket. Seems really durable even with heavy use and, while more expensive then the cheapos you can get at the local retailer, you actually do get more for the money. Only disappointment is the replacement erasers made by Pentel are half the size of the ones that come with the pencil.

Pur avendo da sempre una simpatia per la O rossa (rOtring) e usando diverse loro matite tecniche, non posso non tessere le lodi di questi portamine Pentel. Sono diversi dai 600-800 della rOtring, più leggeri e bilanciati, meno "difficili" da gestire, e (leggermente) più resistenti a una caduta. Per quanto entrambi i brand siano eccellenze, le Pentel Graphgear 1000 hanno quel tipico modo costruttivo giapponese che unisce la praticità ad una qualità estrema e una usability sicuramente più facile. Senza tralasciare il fatto che i costi sono moooolto diversi. Con 14/15€ al massimo si può comprare una serie 500 in plastica, mentre queste sono totalmente in metallo e con punta retrattile (dettaglio assolutamente non trascurabile). Riguardo al fattore estetico/design: le rOtring sono sicuramente più iconiche fatte con materiali di pregio (ma pesanti e alquanto fragili), le Tombow Zoom 707 sono bellissime e uniche nel panorama, (ma forse troppo sottili e un po' sbilanciate). Alla fine un portamine è uno strumento che deve offrire una ottima presa, non affaticare, essere ben bilanciato e avere una buona resistenza all'uso, e in tutto questo queste Graphgear 1000 non sono seconde a nessuno.
