I purchased a Samsung Galaxy A16. Not one of their flagship models. So I understand why the selection of cases is limited. I am not really into looks when it comes to a case, unlike my daughter who likes her CASETiFY cases. I like a more rugged heavy duty case. I have used several Otterbox Defenders over the years. Well, no Otterbox Defender for this one. I tried an Otterbox Commuter series but there were issues with the piece of the case near the on/off button flopping and not staying solid against the phone. I have purchased POETIC items for a variety of different items over the years, e.g., Kindles and phones, so when I came across this one, I figured I would give it a try. I took a chance on this case and have been EXTREMELY pleased. I like the two tone blue color. It comes with two frame options, one with a screen protector and one without. So far it has been great. I don't tend to be too hard on my phones, so I don't have any experience with harsh conditions or dropping the case, but it seems to provide solid protection. The corners are reinforced, the edges are textured to provide a good grip, and the covered buttons still respond well. The area around the on/off switch is protected and POETIC has a design that doesn't flop around like the Otterbox. As with many of the POETIC items, I expect the plastic screen covering to get scratched over time. It is NOT the same as a typical screen protector that is "applied" to the screen, e.g., FloLab screen protectors. It is a plastic covering that is attached to the frame of the case. It was less expensive than the Otterbox that didn't work as well. It is probably a little bulky for some, so that should be considered if you are looking for something sleek. Glad I gave it a try.

Protective case

Great protection , easy to insert phone. Sales tech in phone store said that Poetic is an excellent case, said they are the best!

Poetic cases are definitely a little on the expensive side, but they are so worth the price. I bought this case for my husband's new phone because I have the same case on one of mine. I have had that case for several years, and it's still holding strong. It has some scratches on the back, and that's it. Functionally, it's as good as the day I bought it. So when it was time to buy a really good case for my husband's new phone, I knew it was going to be a Poetic case. It does take a little effort to put on, especially the first few times. But that's normal and natural. It fits perfectly, and the edge is a material that is grippy so it doesn't slip from your hands. The cases are a little plain for my tastes, but my husband doesn't care and I use stickers to jazz mine up. The most important thing is after years of use and dropping here and there, my phone has absolutely no damage at all. Not a single screen crack. Poetic cases are definitely an excellent choice if the most important thing to you is protecting your phone. I cannot recommend them enough!

Very good fit. Phone is very responsive when using built-in screen protector. Highly recommended.
