Rechargeable Nimh AAA batteries are specifically for solar-powered units. This pack includes 4 piece pack of 600 mAh AAA NiMH batteries. So far the battery lasts for the whole night, but I as yet do not know the overall battery life, hence the blank "battery life" rating. So far I am very happy with the purchase and the price can't be beat.
