I was tired of having two separate bins in the kitchen, so I bought this one, and it’s been great! The stainless steel looks nice (albeit it gets fingerprints quickly) and feels solid. The pedals work perfectly, and I love the soft-close lids; no more banging lids. Each side has a 30L capacity, which is sufficient for me. The inner buckets are easy to lift off and clean. There are only two downsides: one is that the bin is higher than expected, so above it must have enough space, and two, the plastic buckets could have been a bit sturdier. After a few weeks, I’m still happy with it. This makes it look neater than having two separate bins just sitting around, while also cutting down on hassle. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something stylish yet functional!

Good quality bin, very sturdy and the lids work well with the foot pedal at the base. A good size as it fits the spot I wanted it for perfectly. It is not a heavy bin but has some weight to give rigidity to the bin and a solid base. The inner bins release easily and the 15 bin bags you get with it are easy to put on. However the recycle bags I have do take a bit of fiddling to sit in the chamber neatly. As for value for money, I'm not going to lie it is an expensive bin and I did have it in my basket for a while before taking the plunge. I will add to my review in a few months when I can give an honest opinion.

Well designed bin, sturdy, able to keep out bad odours, soft closing lid. Comes with labels as well to identify which bin is which. Came with sample bin bags. Easy to place inside our kitchen. Not that heavy either.

This bin fits perfectly in a 60cm space as it's 59cm wide with a few extra mm for the handles. It also comes with stickers which is a nice touch to indicate what each bin holds. The one thing it is missing is an internal ledge to lift the inner bin onto when you change bags (my old SimpleHuman bin has this). That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

This review is about the 58.6 x 32 x 65 Songmics bin (Amazon will stupidly list it against every Songmics bin.) There's another review saying that the lid doesn't close when there's a liner in. That's not true of this bin. We can't tell which bin that reviewer was talking about. Watch out for bins with pedals that fail cos the lid is too heavy for the mechanism (usually a thin piece of stiff wire being pushed til it buckles) or because the lid forms an airtight seal so the pedal is fighting vacuum pressure. This bin doesn't have either problem. The bags are a weird size but you can buy the ROHI 60cm X 78cm on Amazon at £3.49 for 60 bags. The official bags are 50x75. There's nothing to distinguish the two sides but I just stuck little coloured stickers on. The width (56.8) is perfect cos it's like a standard kitchen unit, but the depth (32) could afford to lose about 8cm so it wouldn't stick out as much. The capacity would still be huge and you'd still be able to sweep a plate or chopping board into it. It looks good and it feels sturdy. It ain't cheap, but I think the price is fair and we'll be using it for decades, or at least until some fool tries to open it with a heavy object on top. If they wanted to reduce the price they could dispense with the gimmicky slow-close function. A slow-open function would actually be more useful cos the lid slaps loudly against the wall behind. Perhaps that's good though cos it'll teach us to press the pedal gently.

An amazing recycling bin. Worth every penny. Stylish and easy to use and keep clean. Two sections which hold plenty of waste products with silent closing lids. It is very stylish and pleasing to see. Sits beautifully in my kitchen.

Very nice bin. Ashamed to say how pleased I am with it (has my life come to this?). It is shiny. It has no dents. The removable bin inserts will make cleaning easy. The provided bin bags fit well without bunching up around the tops, so the lids close. Each half is a good size. After ordering, I did see what appears to be the same bin at a cheaper price from another company on here and considered swapping, but then remembered I’d previously bought a similar bin from that other company and it had arrived with dents and had been a pain to return. So, sticking with this expensive but pleasing bin.

Funzionalmente perfetto ed esteticamente elegante, comodo da usare e silenzioso durante la chiusura rallentata dei coperchi, la cui apertura si attiva col piede. Unico dubbio i due tappi guarnizione in gomma leggera nera che coincidono coi coperchi, i quali possono essere rimossi o che forse erano lì per garantire l'incolumità e silenziosità durante la spedizione (ma credo di no). Fatto sta che durante l'apertura vengono su col tappo, per poi riadagiarsi con esso durante la chiusura. Il prodotto presenta un imballo di ottima qualità in polistirolo e cartone. Estremamente soddisfatto!

We kochten deze vuilnisbak omdat we afval moeten scheiden. Hiermee scheiden we plastic (PMD) en normaal afval. De vuilnisbak is groot genoeg ook al zijn de afmetingen van de individuele bakken kleiner dan onze vorige vuilnisbak. De vuilnisbak is netjes, stevig en werd goed beschermd (met piepschuim en folie) bezorgd. Af en toe moet je de vuilnisbak even afnemen met een doekje want deze trekt stof en vingerafdrukken aan.

Lo compré hace un año y medio y aun está como nuevo. Lo volvería a comprar sin dudarlo. Es bastante grande, pero se adapta perfectamente al uso que le damos y al espacio disponible en nuestra cocina. El mecanismo de apertura sigue funcionando correctamente. El acabado exterior sigue intacto y requiere muy poco mantenimiento ya que no se le quedan marcas fácilmente. El poder sacar los cubos internos de plástico para cambiar las bolsas y limpiarlos cuando les cae algún resto de basura es muy práctico. Varias personas que han venido de visita a casa han preguntado por el cubo. Lo recomiendo.
