It’s really the best laser projector hands down. I was using a LG single laser projector and what a massive difference in the picture. Amazing, instead of buying any tv at all this is the best investment in AWOL PROJECTOR LTV3000pro

Ottimo e spettacolare, addirittura proiettato sul muro semplice si vedono peli e capelli singoli. Luce a bizzeffe, accensione istantanea e menù molto semplice e fluido. Per la multimedialità è inclusa una chiavetta Amazon Stick, ma potete usare una sorgente esterna tramite HDMI o una chiavetta vostra (che sia 4k sennò, eventuale materiale 4k, non verrà ottimizzato. Super silenzioso

Gleich vorweg, diese Bewertung bezieht sich ausschließlich auf den genannten Projektor - nicht die Kombination mit der bodenaufsteigenden Leinwand, obwohl ich beide Produkte von Awol gekauft habe. Zur Leinwand - die ich definitiv zur Steigerung der Bildqualität empfehle - gibt es eine separate Bewertung. Die Fragen, die ich mir vor dem Kauf gestellt habe, waren: - Kann ein solcher Laser TV meinen 65 Zoll Panasonic OLED ersetzen und mit einer enormen Bildschirmgröße das perfekte Heimkino liefern? - Ist eine problemlose Integration mit meinem Apple Tv 4k möglich und die Einbindung meiner Sonos Arc über eArc? - Wie steht es mit der Performance im hellen Raum, da ich bewusst den „großen“ Bruder mit 3.500 Lumen aus Kostengründen nicht kaufen wollte Der Awol Vision LTV 3000 Pro kommt toll verpackt daher. Ich habe ihn während der EM zum Sonderpreis von 2.999 Euro erworben - inkl. 2 3D Brillen sowie 150 Euro Rabatt über amazon. Das war für mich ausschlaggebend, mehr würde ich für einen Projektor aktuell nicht bezahlen. Sicher kann der Awol 3500 mehr in Sachen Lichtleistung - Stand jetzt bin ich aber 100% zufrieden. Im Paket selbst befindet sich neben diversen Kabeln und einer schicken Fernbedienung noch ein Fire TV Stick. Das ist wichtig, da sich Awol dazu entschieden hat, keine eigenen Streaming Apps in den Projektor zu integrieren. Ich finde das gut, da ich bei meinem OLED sowieso Apple Tv 4k nutze. Der Fire Stick kann beim Awol auf der Rückseite über HDMI in einem Fach verstaut werden - die Integration klappte im Test gut. Habe dann aber auf Apple TV umgestellt, was ebenfalls ohne Probleme ging. Dolby Atmos an meine Sonos Arc wurde problemlos über eArc weiter gegeben. Man kann sich natürlich auf die Lautsprecher des Awol verlassen. Diese sind ok; wer sich aber einen solchen Projektor für‘s Heimkino zulegt, sollte auch in eine gute Soundbar investieren. Zum Bild: Die Farbtreue ist klasse und das Bild lebhaft und hell! Im angehängten Bild kommt das nicht 100% rüber. Awol bietet zahlreiche Einstellungen für das Bild - sogar einen Filmmodus mit 24 fps. Für mich alles sehr intuitiv bedienbar - wenn auch die deutsche Übersetzung hier und da nicht passt. Dolby Vision über Apple Tv+ oder Netflix sieht super aus - vor allem im Modus hell. Wer möchte, kann sich Farben auch selbst einstellen, ich habe mich an die Default Einstellungen gehalten, die vor allem im Filmmodus toll sind. Ich empfehle auch allen die Kombination mit einer ALR Leinwand! Natürlich funktioniert alles auch auf weißer Wand. Auf meiner Raufasertapete wirkt das Bild bei weiten nicht so kräftig. Die Bewertung der Awol Leinwand erfolgt wie gesagt separat. Nun zur Kernfrage: Kann der Projektor einen Fernseher ersetzen? Für mich ein klares „kommt darauf an“! Bei einer 100 Zoll Leinwand sollte mindestens ein Abstand von 3,5 - 4m gegeben sein. Ich fand, dass man sonst leicht die Strukturen der Leinwand erkennt. Bei 100 Zoll erschlägt einen das Bild - im positive Sinn! Kinofeeling garantiert - auch in 3D (im Test mit Avatar 2 - und ja, 3D ist auch für mich eine tote Sache im Kino). Aber: Schwarzwerte und Helligkeit kommt mit Sicherheit nicht an einen Top-Line OLED ran, das sollte jedem bewusst sein! Nachts bei abgedunkeltem Raum ist der Abstand nur marginal - und im Hinblick auf die 100 Zoll bevorzuge ich den Projektor. Tagsüber ist das Bild gut, ich kann damit leben und habe natürlich nicht den Vergleich zum teureren Awol 3500. Dazu kommt, dass mein OLED im Tageslicht auch zu Spiegelungen neigt. Ein OLED oder ein guter LED TV mit 100 Zoll und mehr (dran denken, dass der Projektor bis zu 150 Zoll kann - sofern die Wandfläche ausreicht!) ist heute noch kaum erschwinglich. Im System mit der Leinwand habe ich knapp 4.500 Euro bezahlt, dafür gibt es von Panasonic max. einen 77 Zoll OLED. Dazu kommt, dass das Gewicht eines Fernsehers in dieser Größe nichts mehr für meine Trockenbauwand wäre ;-) Beachtet auch, dass ihr ein entsprechendes Setup im Wohnzimmer braucht! Für ein 100 Zoll Bild muss der Projektor ca. 28cm von der Wand wegstehen; das Gerät selbst ist ca. 32cm tief, so dass ihr mind. 60cm Abstand benötigt. Prüft auch unbedingt die Höhe eures Sideboards vs. Höhe der Leinwand bevor ihr euch das Gerät zulegt. Um das perfekte Bild einzustellen braucht ihr auch ein wenig Geduld. Infos dazu gibt es zahlreich im Netz. Für mich ist der Awol 3000 der perfekte Nachfolger meines OLED. Habe mich vor dem Kauf lange informiert, da Awol auch eine eher unbekannte Firma ist. Kaufgrund waren dann die durchweg positiven Bewertungen und die Tatsache, dass der Projektor neben HDR10+ auch Dolby Vision als einer der wenigen Projektoren kann in Verbindung mit 4k (auch wenn nur hochskaliert und nicht nativ). Gaming habe ich nicht getestet - ich nutze es mehr für Heimkino und mittlerweile auch normales TV Programm. Ich kann den Awol 3000 empfehlen, empfehle aber auch allen, die sich bei einem Laser TV nicht sicher sind, vorher ein Fachgeschäft aufzusuchen und das Bild zu beurteilen.

For years, I have told myself to not buy (anymore of) the bleeding edge technology gadgets. The AWOL LTV 3000 Pro falls into the bleeding edge category, but I still purchased one anyway. I did this after checking a bunch of YouTube reviews of the AWOL LTV Pro series. Generally, the reviews left me a sense of lacking (as with other projector reviews). Pays your money, takes your chances. Upon powering up the LTV 3000, my initial reaction was abruptly favorable. The projected video on a cream colored wall was very good. I recently added a 100 inch ALR screen which made the picture even better. Accuracy, focus, color aberrations, contrasts are wonderful. Fonts were remarkable. Color rendition is outstanding (either from streaming or from a Panasonic Blu Ray player). Of course, a darken the room helps. Out of the box, the internal speakers were dreadful sounding. Finding the equalization and tone controls on the remote mostly solved the situation (adjusting to boost the high frequencies). Normally, I use the optical digital audio output to my HiFi system so these adjustments are not relevant. There are 3 HDMI ports available. One is sort of dedicated to a streaming stick which can be hidden in a recessed area in the back of the unit. A cover is provided to hide the stick and local wires. A Firestick seems to work fine, Roku needs to have its WiFi long range wire extended. It would have been nice if AWOL provided some holes thru the cover for wire access. There are 2 USB ports, however I have not used or tested them. There is also a video component input. I do miss not having an over the air TV tuner. The HDMI ports all work fine, both with streaming and Blu Ray players. Just as you should expect from modern HDMI systems. The video component input presented to me an opportunity for a time warp to the past. My Super Beta HiFi worked great as a video source. Picture was good. Sound was good too. However the 4:3 aspect ratio was not preserved (stretched to 16:9). Naturally the old 350 line resolution was not improved. (Note: one can buy elsewhere a converter box that preserves the 4:3.) Most of my viewing has been streaming HD content, no problems, good job here. I had some difficulties with UHD 4K. Either or both the Panasonic DP-UB820 Blu Ray player and the LTV 3000 doesn’t like something. I ended up switching the LTV 3000 inputs while restarting the disc in the player. Problem sometimes occurred just as the user selects “Play” on the disc’s intro screen. Otherwise the UHD display looks fine. I haven’t tried out any of the Dolby options. 3D worked great (using AWOL glasses). But the 3D requires a manual selection on the LTV 3000. The 3D display initially starts up with a double image, one on top of the other until the LTV 3000 gets into it true 3D mode. The main issue for me is that the LTV 3000 automatically exits the 3D mode whereas manual intervention is required to start the 3D mode. A typical 3D disc jumps between 2D and 3D during the intro phase of the disc. (My 12 year old Sharp LCD TV automatically detects 3D and activates same.) 3D performance is quite good, A darken room helps the experience. The things listed above are what can be seen as the pluses. Only one issue needs to be stated. The LTV 3000 has a variable speed cooling fan. Things are quiet at first. Usually as the video proceeds, the fan speeds up (noticeable fan noise is still acceptable). After an hour and half of 4K UHD, the fan seems loud. All in all, if you able to spend the large amount of money, the AWOL LTV 3000 Pro is a buy. Just don’t forget that you can but a couple of 75 inch high end large flat screen TVs for the same amount of money or less than the LTV 3000.
