These canoe carrier blocks work very well!! I was not able to use all the items as suggested because I own a quad pickup with a bed shell. I was able to use all 4 blocks and one strap. I use two long ropes instead of the two short ropes provided. The block work better then I thought.

All components of this set fit nicely in plastic bag with a drawstring top (provided), and all looks to be of more than adequate quality. Simply judging from appearances and before actually using this to mount my canoe, it exceeds my expectations. I was especially appreciative of a clear instruction sheet, showing how to use these to set up a canoe with or without cross-bars on a roof rack. We have one car with and one without crossbars, and it's nice to know that I can use this set on either one. I also liked that all components fit nicely in a snug bag for ease of storage and transport.

For a quick fix, these are great. I used them for an 8 hour drive with my canoe on my truck roof. They didn't scratch the paint.

You get everything you need to put a kayak on the roof of a car. Regretfully the product is not high quality. The blocks started to crack when I tried to spread them to install them on the crossbars. If your bars are narrower you might be fine. I do not think that anything in the box is going to last you a lifetime though.

I’m using these to protect the canoe’s gunwales from getting scratched by the trailer’s rails. The crisscross cutouts in the pads help keep the pads in place. Looks like they’d work well on a roof rack. The tie downs aren’t the nicest I’ve seen but they’re functional. The whole set comes with a nylon bag to keep it all together.

Holds my canoe on top of my sedan. I used ratchet straps instead of the friction straps for better holding and then used the included friction straps to secure front and back.

I was skeptical at first, though the geometry of the idea seemed sound. They are really hard to fit on the first few times, but when you clamp them down to the vehicle, they compress right into place perfectly.

Good basic kit for a good price, foam blocks are durable material.

Good quality, fair price, and very adaptable and easy to use.
