This is my go to shelving. It is so much better than the others that I have purchased. I think the reviewers that note problems with the wire shelves received a different item than I did. My shelves are totally flat, not bent at the sides, and they fit inside the supports (tightly after some maneuvering). The horizontal supports really do need to be tapped in with a rubber mallet. I didn't at first because they seemed secure without it, but once I had to wiggle things to place the shelves, I learned that they weren't tight. But with a tap of the mallet, everything was fine. There were some little plastic feet I didn't notice until it was assembled and that weren't mentioned in the instructions. Put them on the vertical pieces first. I learned the hard way. I easily assembled everything by myself in about 20 minutes. It's big and very sturdy. A good value for garage shelving.

Not many racks are available in 18" deep by 60" wide, and this seemed to be the best buy among them. I don't think there is any way that the shelves can support as much weight as they claim, but they way sturdy enough for my general storage purposes. Not too difficult to assemble, but a rubber mallet does help a lot.

Using the shelving unit in my basement to help get organized. Nice size, fits an available space I had perfectly. Looks good, seems sturdy, though I don’t believe it could handle the advertised 800 lbs per shelf. The red color adds some splash to the basement. It came on time, perfect condition.

Sturdy well built

I gave it the five stars because of its value. There are better shelves to choose from, but not at this price. Assembly time was roughly half an hour for the first unit and 15 minutes for next three. They pretty stable once assembled.

This was relatively easy to assemble by myself (lady in my 40s) and appears very sturdy. My garage is finally organized!

Bad design. Some rails keep popping out even after I hammer them in place to make it a snug fit. I’m using these shelves in my storage unit to maximize space. I already have some shelving there which I purchased a while back and was using in my basement before. It’s another brand which I won’t mention but is more expensive. That one is rated for 4000lbs and it has proven itself for quite some time now. This time I decided to try to save some money. Needless to say I get what I paid for. The long rails bend for medium heavy items. Probably good for 1000lbs but definitely not 2500lbs. The short rails don’t share in the load at all. Will just delegate to lighter bulky items. If you’re just putting light bulky items and like to take risks then you can go with these to save some money. Otherwise save yourself the headache and buy the other brand.
