True Classic Workout Shirts for Men – Shirts & Muscle Shirt for Men, Gym Shirt, Tank Top and Athletic Base Layer

I absolutely love these T-shirts. The fabric is incredibly soft but still feels solid and high quality. I’ve washed them plenty of times and they’ve held up really well, so no concerns with washability! No loss of softness, shape, or overall quality. No shrinking either. They are solid; even after all the washes, they maintain their quality and thickness. The fit and cut are excellent. For reference, I’m a 5'9", 150 lb woman with a slightly masculine build, and the size Small fits perfectly. The length is just right (not too long or too short) and the shoulders have enough room without looking boxy. Overall, the cut is very flattering and works great both casually and for workouts. These have quickly become go-to shirts for me. I now have a set of cotton ones and a set of dry-fit ones for hiking. I’ll definitely be buying more once I wear these out (which might take some time...).

I love every True Classic shirt or hoodie that I own. These workout shirts fit amazing, are incredibly soft and durable. I liked this shirt so much that I wound up buying a second shirt.

I’ve been wearing this shirt for several weeks now (on and off…not the whole time), and it’s a good quality shirt. The material is soft and comfortable. Some people complain in the reviews that it’s too thin. I didn’t find that to be the case. It’s activewear, so it’s going to be thinner than cotton, but it’s definitely an appropriate thickness. My only two issues are 1. The price and 2. The fit. The shirt ran a bit large. I normally wear XL shirts so that is the size that I got. I found that it fit a little big. Both in the shoulders and around the belly. It may have shrunk in the wash a bit, but not enough to really notice. $35 is a little steep for an activewear shirt, and with the odd sizing issue in top of that, I gave it 4 stars. It’s a very nice shirt, and I would order it again if it went on sale, but I would get a large instead of an XL.

I’m 6”0 185lbs and I get large whenever I buy my tees(which is a lot) from True Classic. I’ve tried every brand out there since my old brand switched the way they made theirs and this is BY FAR the best fitting one. I’ve probably ordered around 20-25 the past 2 years…I’m a gym rat so I’m there 6 days a week and these tees are absolutely perfect. They hugs my arms,neck is very tight and they don’t fade. I guarantee if you buy one and once you wear it,you’ll be right back on here ordering multiples.

So, I watched the funny advertising - I listened to the claims that it was clothing for men to accentuate their figures, much like female clothes can help a woman's figure... I read the reviews on Amazon - some were negative and others full of 5 stars. Firstly, sizing (important to understand when buying online) I went to their website, but before buying a pack, I wanted to just buy one, so I came to Amazon. I am 181 cm tall - I have muscular shoulders, arms, and a 42-inch chest. I am losing weight but I guess I weigh around 80 kg. I have a little fat around the waist but my size for jeans is a 32, maybe 31 depending on the make and on a good day but let's say 32. I'm usually a LARGE but ordered a MEDIUM - I clicked that order button and then the next day tried to cancel it... It was too late - I thought I had made a mistake because I'm generally a LARGE - But when the T-shirt arrived, a medium fitted perfectly!! Secondly, Material Not too thin like some reviewers stated. It's soft and feels good quality. Not thick and cheap. I like it. I am concerned about washing this T as the website states that you can expect up to 5% shrinkage - This is why I have only given 4 stars. It's a great fit now, but any smaller??? No way. Conclusion - (Why the negative reviews on Amazon?) If I were a bit heavier and had a 34-inch waist then probably I would need a large. One reviewer put it very well, so I will repeat his points - If you are fit and are at a good weight but you have a 'little' extra weight, then these T-shirts will fit you in the way they are advertised. (Nice up top, with slightly more room for the belly. If you are overweight by a lot - let's say that my waist size was a 34 and not a 32.... then maybe not no. Basically, these T's aren't going to turn you into looking like Brad or Tom... maybe a large on a man who has a 34 waist would look great - maybe. This may explain some of the negative reviews about this product - IDK. It is a normal, good quality T-shirt that has a bit of extra in the belly but not to the expense of baggy arms or a loose and low neckline. I will see how this T-shirt holds up after I wash it. I will update my review - either it will get an extra star or it will lose some stars. I AM TOO SCARED TO WASH THE SHIRT IN A MACHINE AND HAVE ONLY HAND-WASHED THE SHIRT TWICE SINCE I PURCHASED IT. IT HASN'T SHRUNK BUT I CAN'T GIVE THIS T A 5-STAR RATING AS I SHOULD FEEL FREE TO JUST THROW IT IN A MACHINE. ALSO - TO BE FRANK, THE T-SHIRT, ALTHOUGH GOOD IS OVERPRICED. IT'S NOT A POLO SHIRT, IT'S JUST A TSHIRT. I LIVE IN MEXICO AND WITH SHIPPING THE SHIRT IS AROUND 600+ PESOS THAT'S AROUND 35+ DOLLARS OR 30+ POUNDS (UK) THAT'S QUITE A LOT FOR A T-SHIRT - MAYBE 20 POUNDS - 25 DOLLARS INCLUDING SHIPPING. 2ND UPDATE - AFTER HANDWASHING 3 TIMES - I ENDED UP PUTTING THIS T-SHIRT IN THE WASHING MACHINE IN A COOL WASH AND IT LOST ITS SHAPE AND SHRANK. A GREAT SHIRT SHOULD NOT BE AFFECTED SO MUCH BY SIMPLY WASHING IT. ITS STILL WEARABLE BUT ITS NOT THE SAME SIZE. I'LL HAVE TO HAND WASH FROM NOW ON.
