Superb sound and set up
Superb little speaker and so easy to set up. I have it linked to my desktop as well as my phone and can even take calls on it as well as stream music and pod casts. I was debating buying a cheaper speaker but am very glad I paid the extra and went for the Bose SoundLink. It's everything I wanted and more.

Just don’t.
Utterly dreadful. Bose have long been a preferred option for music in our household. Sound was tinny and weak. Have sent it back. You get what you pay for I suppose. Steer clear of this one, sadly.

First, it looks great. Second, sounds impressive for it's size! The sound is not as deep and rich as on my other speaker Harman/Kardon Go+Play, but that's expected as Bose SoundLink is way smaller. Fits perfectly under my 27" monitor. Can playback via Bluetooth or Type-C (which also charges the speaker).

Good clarity and sound for its size.

I am going to preface this by saying that this will be if you have one or two. Only own one: If you only have one of these and you intend to just have it fill a room with music, then I think it's perfectly fine. For such a small form factor it is very clear sounding and filling sound. Now it is very apparent that it's not stereo sounding you know exactly where the music is coming from. My initial usage when I only had one, I found myself looking at the speaker when on calls, if that makes sense. It didn't feel the sound was around me to look at the camera. Owning Two: So, with my experience with only one I ordered another to get the party mode for true stereo sound. Now this is where this speaker shines. The sound is rich, and I don't even realize where the two speakers are. The set up was easy but you do have to go to the Bose website to find out how to do it because it's not in the printed material that the speakers come with. (We will come back to this) Another big positive is that you can put one of the speakers on USB audio and it will still do the Party Mode. Previous speakers wouldn't do this, and you had to be connected via Bluetooth to share. The pairing also remains. Even if you turn off the second speaker, when it comes back on it will automatically go into party mode. Overall, the quality and finish of these speakers are clean and professional. It looks like an almost $200 speaker and has the features as well. Now to the downsides. My biggest one is that there is no app support. So it means no patches or updates. Because of this like I said prior if you want to look up anything on it you have to go to the Bose Support site and search for the speaker. it does come with a charging USB but it's massive and is a USB-C 90* connection but it's a USB-A on the other end. Why not a USB-C to USB-C? I will add this, I used to use my Bose Sound Link Max and it just wasn't good for meetings and a small room. It had no USB audio. So if you want to use these for a home office or your work office, they are amazing. But maybe to much for an onsite office usage due to the amount of sound it pushes.

The speaker charged up easily and paired easily with the bluetooth on my iphone. Then I started playing from a Spotify playlist and every 10-20 secs the sound cut out. I followed all the troubleshooting tips and nothing worked.
