Really happy with the fast delivery process. The product is really good quality like always, not sure why there are a lot of negatives comments. Personally have been using Vinod cooker for 4 years and the sandwich bottom feature is the best for induction stoved in Canada. The latest purchase was a gift to my mom in India and she loves it so far. The glass lid metal part photo attached, has a joining. It is just from the make of it, not a damage.

I needed a small pressure cooker. It is perfect for use. This is the third Vinod pressure cooker I have purchased all in different sizes. I would recommend purchase of a Vinod pressure cooker which is well priced.

Overall good product

This is a 4-5 people portion size pressure cooker. It is heavy bottom and cooks really well. There are two problems with it - which frankly I got the hang of and doesn’t bother me at all. 1) the lid id little hard to close. There is a trick (or a particular point to start sticking with cooker body) to close its lid. You keep it at that point and press from top and twist it. This gets really hard when pressure cooker is HOT. So i would be mindful of that before purchasing it. 2) This cooker DOESN’T WORK WELL for reheating the food. Whenever I try to reheat OR re-pressure cook, the food gets burnt even when there are plenty of water in my food. This is really not acceptable. I couldn’t return this because I needed a pressure cooker real bad. Aside from these 2 problems, this works well for cooking indian food.

I just ordered this pressure cooker a couple days ago and was really looking forward to receiving it. Shipping was fast, but it arrived with the lid handle broken in two different places. Unlike the base, the lid was not securely packaged in the box to prevent it from moving around while the package is being transported. Still, I'm not all that impressed by stuff that breaks so easily. The box looks like it was previously opened so I'm not even so sure that this product wasn't previously sold. I'm going to contact Amazon about sending me a replacement lid, but this thing looks old and its now out of stock so replacing the part may not be possible. If they can't send me a replacement lid then I will be sending this back to Amazon. Very disappointing!
