They are very moist and plump and the size is typically between a penny and nickel staked 3 high. They have a good flavor and I find they have a very mild sweetness even though no sugar is added. It's a greater deal than the supermarket branded ones, with much better quality. I've never come across a pit in the 4 bags used so far. FYI: If used for baking, to get an even bigger cherry flavor put them in a bowl with 1 to 2 tsp of almond extract. Microwave until very warm and stir a few time before using. Review: Great Unsweetened Cherries - Pre-pandemic I was hooked on some similar unsweetened cherries from Trader Joe's. These are even better - very consistent (few damaged fruits) and nice and sweet for what they are, and they seem to clump (a little) less in the bag than the TJ's equivalent offering. As others may have mentioned, these are unsweetened, so they are going to be considerably more tart than the sugar-added variety (be prepared for what you are buying) but not as tart as some that I have had. We have gone through several (5+) bags so far and haven't come across a pit or other unexpected surprises in the bag. Price is quite good/comparable to TJ's. A very nice product!

When the package warns about pits being present, listen
The cherries were great. Not too dry or moist, perfect flavor with no weird rotted bits, and a very generous portion. I was loving them and chowing down by the handful until a pit cracked a molar, and now I've got a crown-- They tell you on the package that it's mechanically pitted, please don't be like me and listen. I'd still eat them again, though, albeit a bit more cautiously. They're very good cherries.

Big and plumb cherries
Not sweet but very big and plumb cherries. They taste delish on hot oatmeal. Also like to eat them from the bag as a snack. Yummy!

Sweet, plump for dried .... yum
I used to be a sugar addict, a few months ago, and if I still was, these MIGHT seem tart ... unsure ... To me, they are very sweet, plump for a dried fruit, reminds me the size of a small prune ... Taste is fabulous .... says 5.5 servings per bag ... I measured out all servings, by weight, which is approx 14 cherries per serving at 120 calories ... Works for diabetics, no added sugars, only cherries, no oils either ..... perfect!

A snack
Not too bad, it’s not as good as other brands I tried. I think this one taste a bit drier. It has a distinct sweetness, a tiny bit of tart and bitter. More on the sweet side of cherries. This one will be great for those looking for no sugar added dried fruits. Bing cherries has been my favorite to snack on. It helps me soothe cravings after a meal. It has sources of fiber, antioxidant, and potassium. Also reduce inflammation and can aid in weight loss.

Totally fresh and NOT processed in a plant that processes nut products …
These Sunrise dried Bing cherries are a really nice, wholesome treat. They can be used in all kinds of ways, from adding to one’s cereal to eating right out of the bag. Cherries are one of my favorite fruits and when they are out of season these are the way to go. One interesting thing is that “the packing equipment does not have contact with any nut products.” That’s unusual for most products I’m seeing these days. The cherries are plump and moist, ready to eat right out of the bag. They will need to be refrigerated after opening. This is a small eight-ounce bag, but well worth the asking price of just under$5.00, a mere $4.95 to be exact. I pay more than that for a box of raisins. There are no added sugars, but it does have 27 grams of carbs. Love these and will probably purchase them again.

Quite good-negative reviews are puzzling
I just placed my 4th order of Sunrise Dried Sweet Cherries. I am thinking of doing subscribe and save for them. They are quite good. I almost wonder if the negative reviews are posted to the right product. No, they don't taste like prunes, or raisins,or soy sauce, nor are they bitter, nor are they excessively sour. If you have eaten fresh Bing cherries and experienced the range of sweetness and flavorfulness of them THAT'S what they taste like. If you are expecting them to taste like sour cherries except sweeter you may be disappointed. Bing cherries have their own flavor. . All mechanically pitted fruits have occasional pits or pit fragments. If that bothers you maybe you should be eating jello, not dried fruit.
