Lots to teach - lots to learn
My daughter is a fan of Eric Carle's books. She took a little time to get used to reading this one; but once she did; she wanted to read it everyday! Lovely illustrations. Helps teach them animals, colors, movements etc.

This is a good buy!
Got it for my 2.5 yo child. She enjoys it, although I think it's more apt for a younger kid. 1.5 up, after they learn to stand. If your child likes posing, dancing, shaking this is a good buy!

A must have in collection for a 1 year old
Recommended for 0+ m babies .. I bought it for my 17 months old daughter. She loves this book, I read to her daily and she can do all the actions mentioned in the book. Must have in the collection!

Lovely Illustrations
My three-year old son loves Eric Carle's classic tale A Very Hungry Caterpillar. He loves the tale so much that I bought some other books by Carle to express my gratitude -- I got the caterpillar one as an old book from a footpath shop at a dirt cheap rate. Carle's all books are wonderfully illustrated, beautifully designed and effortlessly narrated. For the sake of lovely drawings, I have purchased Emily Gravett's books as well.

Simple and engaging for the child
My 2.8 year old son loved this book so much. It is so simple and he loved to imitate the actions on this book. This is one of his favorite books.

My daughter loves this book and can act out all the gestures from it. I would recommend all books by Eric Carle for infants and toddlers. The artwork is very interesting, and kids always learn something while having fun.

This is one of our toddlers new favorite books! It is great for learning to follow directions and different body parts while getting some energy out. I would recommend this for any active toddler.
