Fits 2002 silverado 4.8
2002 chevy silverado 4.8 perfect fit. Had an issue with mi idle. Once in a while it would die as I was coming to a stop. I could not figure it out cause it would not do it all the time. It was rare and had no check engine light. I clean out the air filter and the old IAC it seemed to get better but it would still die. This new part has been installed for about 2 months now and the truck hasn't died. Seems like it fixed the issue. Truck has 170k miles and it still running like a champ.

OEM IAC!
I have a 2004 Pontiac GTO with a LS3 and LSA supercharger. I retained DBC and I’ve been using a WARR 92MM throttle body for about a year. 150,xxx miles on the original IAC until the screws backed out and the pintle came out of the IAC sensor rendering it useless. Original sensor (made in Mexico), and IAC counts at 45 while idling. No issues. Price is higher than I remember but as long as the original sensor lasted I don’t mind. ALWAYS USE OEM SENSORS ON YOUR LS ENGINES.

I bought it as a return/ Used
OEM? Sure? Came with the box but that’s about it. No oem part number on the part it’s self. It works just fine. Though it was erected already when I first got it and these sensors are supposed to be delicate so I had hell of a time getting it installed without hurting it. So far so good. I’d probably buy a used part again for 1/3rd of the original price again. 👌mint

Fixed a huge problem!
My Silverado pickup has a lot of miles, and regular maintenance. It started killing on cold starts in cold weather. I went to the internet to learn about the problem and what to do. I decided to replace this part. When I checked Amazon, the price was a fraction of retail and other online sites. Amazon even helped me select and confirm the part is correct for my engine. It is an easy install after you look at online "how to instal"l videos. Now the truck starts and idles like new, even at cold temperatures. I hope others have the same good luck. I like Amazon's website, prices, free shipping, tracking, and customer support. Thanks!

Bad out of the box
Needed a new IAC for my intake and throttle body swap. Put on the car and the sensor is faulty right out of the box. Buy from your local parts store or rockauto because this is junk, wish I would have read other reviews before I bought on Amazon.

Perfect fit for my 2000 Silverado 1500 5.3L V8.
Perfect fit for my 2000 Silverado 1500 5.3L V8. Definitely do a throttle relearn procedure after replacing. Leave your battery unhooked overnight, then: Run at idle 3 mins, turn key off for 60 seconds, idle for another 3 minutes, key off for 60 seconds, don't hit throttle or turn anything on during the procedure. Then go drive it around at different speeds for 15-20 minutes. Should be good to go after a drive or two.
