Excellent oven, but it helps to be familiar with the brand.
My last Hisense oven broke a few weeks ago and I thought this would be an ideal replacement due to price and it being the model down. First of all, delivery was good with two helpful chaps assisting get it through a difficult entrance. Once opened, this is an aesthetically pleasing mix of black and a tinge of silver/stainless steel - definitely has a premium look. Installation is simple as it has handles on the side of the case, slides in and then just needs to be hard-wired (a simple job for an electrician). Hisense tend to give some great features for the price, namely the pizza mode which is retained on this - it allows the temperature to go up to 300c and try and get near to pizza oven hot (though it's still some distance away). It's obviously not a pizza oven replacement but it's a feature that works well and allows a flash of extreme heat for things that need that 'whoosh' (such as crackling). Plenty of other good programmes; another I find useful is the ability to switch off the fan and do cook just using the element, something that gives a better result for Yorkshire Puddings and some cakes. I can understand the slight criticism of one aspect of the brand though as it might seem a bit over complicated in certain aspects. First of all there is the fact that the clock switches off after a while at night to 'save' energy - not sure how much this actually achieves but it can be switched off. The other is that operating the programme isn't just a case of turning the dials - you need to press the 'Play' button to start it up. If you forget to do it, it'll stay dead and you'll come back thirty minutes later wondering why your food isn't cooked. I haven't had to use their customer service department, something which is criticised in other reviews, so I can't comment. For the price, premium features and attractive look, I'd recommend this though.

Excellent oven
Bought this to replace my old indesit oven and it's excellent ...heats up quickly I only have 2 issues first of all no setting without the top element coming on that I can find so if you put anything ready meals wise in there in a plastic tray it melts !!! Help if you know the setting I need, secondly remembering to press start when set the dials to start the oven warming done this a few times now and not realized till I've opened door to put in food but that's my fault, oh and also the bleep volume could be louder I'm partially deaf and dont hear the bleep if not in same room. Otherwise a really good oven just hard to get used to but that will come with time

Absolutely looks stunning!
Looks really stylish. Fast delivery. Only one think, depends how is your connection. We have normal plug so have to order separately heavy duty plug. As it come just as cable. Have option to pre set your own to start cooking when you not at home, and when you come, food is ready, what is rally save your time.

The Regret! It's Complicated!
The oven’s price was quite reasonable considering the functions which are offered, that is if you have great eyesight to see them all! On initiating the ‘self-clean’ pyrolysis, it has a TWO hour function for cleaning, at an incredibly high temperature increasing electricity costs! However, 24 hours after this cleaning process, the oven developed a fault, showing Er08 and no longer worked. The manufacturer did offer to send out an engineer but could only do so TWELVE days later, or I would have to check each day to see if they were any cancellations to be accommodated earlier! Additionally, the functions on the oven look amazingly clear when photographed but they are actually very tiny and indistinct, when one has to SEE to select a setting, to operate the oven, as they are NOT illuminated. Next, switching on the oven is a marathon process which involves using FOUR STEPS: (1) Rotating the Dial Selector for type of baking/roasting desired (2) Turning the Temperature Dial for desired heat (3) Pressing the Time Display (4) Pressing Start/stop selector! Hopefully you have really sharp eyesight to see all of these functions as they are indistinct when not photographed and looking at the actual oven! After getting past the preceding four hurdles, then you have to be sure to stay in the kitchen to hear the ‘beep’ which indicates that the oven has reached its temperature, so you can place the food to be cooked inside! The ‘reached temperature’ is not displayed, only the clock time/countdown. We have regretted this purchase and have requested a return of this faulty (Er08) oven which has been accepted. Technology should simplify, not magnify nor complicate life!

Great built in oven
Had to replace old built in oven. Spent a few weeks reviewing the many on the market in my price range. Overall this Hisense came out just about top in most areas. So pleased I chose it, it is fantastic. Easy to install. Only had it a few weeks but already benefitting from the oven coming to temp in half the time my old one used to. As for baking results, it's amazing. Only had one decent spot on old oven, where good cooked evenly. I tried 3 trays of muffins all at the same time, top middle and bottom in the Hisense Results were top draw. Didn't have to faff about moving stuff around halfway through, every muffin came out evenly baked and all looking the same. If you're looking for a new oven, go for this one. Well impressed.

A good product
Again had this item about a year, works really well, got a timer when reaching oven temperature that indicates automatically, has to be hard wired into the electric system for best results and safety, fits into a base unit ok. A good product and make for price

Size
Really good oven at a good price! Very spacious! It looks like modern ovens use every millimetre of built in cubicle space so don’t make my mistake and make sure you measure depth accurately as fixed copper pipe running up the back wall to hob is making my oven sit proud of the unit so I had to improvise some spacers for the screws until I can get the pipe moved possibly! Nice but be aware 77 litre capacity makes it deeper so MEASURE PROPERLY!!
