So far so good. Using this router as SIM card only and it's pretty stable. Setup was straightforward if you follow the directions.

We recently sought a solution for a project. We discovered GL.iNet, whose products are not only feature-rich but also incredibly user-friendly. When we reached out to see if their hardware would suit our specific needs, they immediately scheduled a technical consultation for us. We were fortunate to work with Alen Li, who took the time to truly understand our challenge. Instead of a quick fix, he provided a more robust and effective solution. I cannot praise Alen’s problem-solving skills and work ethic enough. I highly recommend GL.iNet products; if you run into any hurdles, rest assured that Alen and the tech team are there to help

I was using an S22 as a hot spot in my house for several months - being very poor reception in home (night time at best was 25mbit DL and anything from 1-4mbit UL with constant hang up and lag spikes). Got sick of that and so I decided to buy the GL X2000 Spitz 4G modem router and paired with a set of Mopchamp 5G Antennas (45deg Mimo config on roof) (which also work perfectly on the 4G networks in Australia). I don't have an exact line of sight to tower but was able to roughly align using GPS and compass and fine tune manually with very incremental adjustments. The result is fantastic. I get a stable 60mbit DL and a 20mbit UL. The routers Wifi-6 is also fantastic. I get full bar's in the home in any area through multipme walls - it's very good in that respect. The router also allows band locking to LTE networks and preferential band allocations.

Just installed and so far it’s working great. Can stream multiple devices on wireless network with 18GPS down (per Ookla). Here is what we did. Went to AT&T where we have a postpaid plan with unlimited data. Got an additional line and a SIM card set up for Android devices. Downloaded GLiNet for the Spitz Plus and created an account. Connected cell phone to cellular gateway as my router. Went to 192.168.8.1 on web browser. Set up the cellular gateway as a wireless extender of the existing router. This gave me Internet access. Made sure the firmware was up to date (it was). Put new SIM card in slot 1. Set up the cellular connection. Disabled the extender setup & tested with just the cellular active. It took a few minutes but it got connected and works great. Fairly easy. One note: I couldn’t get the cellular gateway to work hard wired to the existing router. But wireless to the existing router worked fine.
