Mi primer teclado mecánico y lo amo! Ahora el teclado de la macbook me parece súper incómodo pues me he acostumbrado a la sensación de las teclas y su sonido tan tranquilizante. Le compré una almohadilla para que sea más ergonómico y un soporte para alzar la lap y no estar encorvada. Todo esto hace la experiencia de trabajar en la computadora mucho más placentera.

I love using Royal Kludge keyboards, especially very recently this year! This keyboard in particular has really stolen my heart, and this is coming from someone to enjoys his free time modifying any keyboard he buys. The RK61 Plus is the best 'custom' prebuilt keyboard I own, and I very much recommend this with the silent Viridian Switches they have pre-installed. [The following passage has been revised to include accurate quality description and details of the RK61 Plus] As quick as I fell in love with this keyboard, it doesn't mean this item didn't come with some flaws that I don't love. A rather important flaw to bring up is the software issue, out of the box. A normal consumer would not quickly notice the typing lag and double typing during it's first hours of use, so to avoid this as soon as possible, be sure to check your Amazon account's message inbox for instructions from the seller after receiving the item; as should it include a Google drive link for updated software to fix all common issues from the factory. It is also important to note that you use ONLY the provided cable to install said software, as well as a Windows OS computer to operate this feature. If the methods fail the first time around, set item to Factory Reset by holding down both FN + [SPACE], then retry software install after the fact. Yes, this 'amazing' keyboard still requires maintenance, but it is beautiful, smooth, and overall delightful to own on my desktop for all uses; gaming, typing, home office, etc. The aesthetic design is simply pleasing right out the box, both keycaps and board itself match identical from top to bottom. I went with the Mint Green design and I won't be replacing the keycaps any time soon, it's just that appealing to me. Now, usually I like to pick out my switches from somewhere else, mostly from Akko or Gateron, but these newer silent switches RK included are just amazing in their own way. No scratchy feeling, smooth tying experience and it also has a matching color scheme to the rest of this build. To add to all of this, it is dampened underneath the plates, as advertised, with foam and all stabilizers are pre-lubed. Everything about this keyboard is a complete package for the enthusiast. There is nothing about this that I want changed. Even if you are someone who would like anything swapped out, you still can; switches and keycaps can be replaced, along with the stabilizers and removable plate. It is completely customizable to the buyer. In the end, this keyboard is a big winner in my eyes, even after fixing the software. It definitely can be annoying to jump through hoops to properly enjoy a product out of the box, but the steps aren't too hard or too many, so after it all it is still another good keyboard. I am big on 60% size keyboards and this is my new favorite. The price tag to begin with is really good for the quality of the product, but since it came with an annoying flawed software, I would include the coupon or the reduced prices first. If you are someone who enjoys good sound, design, and attention to quality equal to detail, I am still confident in this choice.

Got it 3 days ago and already isn’t working, my 1/f1 key is taking me to a chrome/edge help page and It doesn’t tell me how precautions on how to fix this. Been trying to fix the keyboard since 11am.. it is now 11:42pm.. :/ not happy at all

This keyboard comes with the most thoughtless default key binds. I mean pressing fn to use a forward slash is alone enough reason not to buy it. The lighting is awful, its clacky, program to adjust things has an awful UI. The only thing it has going for it is that it looks good aesthetically, but using it... is not so nice. Update: As time goes on, I wonder why I ever bought this keyboard. I would highly suggest staying far away from it. Unless you like entering secret fn key combinations it get your keyboard to function properly again. Not even worth $10. If I could rate it less than 1 star i sure would.
