I ordered this dress because I love the flowing feel of a dress in the summer. It's a plus that it had pockets. The length hit me mid calf which is what I wanted. So many of the swing dresses I see are just below the knee and are too short for my taste. I ordered the black in a 3x and the slate blue and brown in a 4x. The larger size is more comfortable because there is more room in the neck and arms. The neck fits high which is okay, but on the 3x was just a tad too snug for me. The same for the arm area. I ordered the blue and brown after I received the black and went up a size and they both feel much better.They seem opaque enough once on to not have to wear a slip. I wore one with the blue because it was lighter in color. These can be dressed up or down. I usually wear mine with canvas sneakers, but add a dressy sandal and jewelry and it's a perfect outfit for a night out or special gathering. (If we ever have those again.)The blue one came with two flaws, both were missed stitching that left a hole. It was a quick fix on my part and wouldn't deter me from ordering more. I feel I can wear these into the fall with leggings and boots and a long cardigan. It's a very versatile dress. It is made in the USA which I am happy about and it says hand wash, but I've washed mine in the washer on cold cycle and don't see any damage to the dresses.If you are contemplating ordering, I would urge you to buy and if you like items to fit loose, go up a size or even two depending on how loose you like the fit.

Ok! I'm 5'5", 298 lbs; 51 bust, 49 waist, 57 hips. Needed to purchase "overnight delivery" dress for a funeral. I found this dress, and ordered a 4X.Result - lovely dress, soft knitted rayon material, fits like a dream. Dress flows beautifully, falling to about mid calf. I styled up with a scarf and black hose and outfit was complete. Comfortable, elegant, affordable - exactly what I was after.I read some reviews that the dress was too small, or shorter than expected. Also that the sleeves were too tight. I didn't find this to be the case. Dress is roomy w a nice drape and sleeves are clearly designed to be fitted. But they are not tight.And once again, the length is def midi length on 5'5" me. If you are taller however, I suppose the dress might hit you higher. But I reckon you'd have that possibility with any garment.As a plus size woman I routinely seek out honest reviews from fellow customers. Plus size clothing is often inconsistent in sizing and disappointing in quality. Reading reviews is the best way I have found to purchase clothing online.You should always read sizing charts and order your true size. Try not to get hung up on numbers. What good is it to buy a gorgeous dress in a 1X if you can't put it on? If you are a 3X or 4X, own it and be proud. Buy the right size and be beautiful in your clothes!All of that being said, no worries about this one folks. At the end of the day it delivered at every mark. This dress is a winner and I highly recommend!

The color is darker and brighter than expected, which in this case, is OK. It's still a nice color. The fabric is very soft, stretchy, and what there is of the fabric moves well... but there really could be more of that fabric.The upper part of the dress fits well, and the arms are a nice length. The neckline is flattering and the dress is well made. I just wish it had a little more flare or swing to it. It's cut pretty straight from under the arms to the hemline, so it doesn't have a lot of room through the hip area and the hemline doesn't have much movement. I think the dress would be fantastic if it had more sweep to the hemline. As it is, maybe order a size up?

Absolutely fantastic dress. I love the fact that it can be dressed up with a beautiful cardigan, high heels and bling jewelry, or dressed down with sandals and sneakers! It's very lightweight and kind of soft, smooth, slinky. I would definitely recommend proper fitting undergarments so that it doesn't show bulges & the dress will look better. It looked great on her when we went on a cruise. It was easily washed & rinsed in the shower w/ liquid laundry detergent, squeezed dry by rolling in a clean towel (we brought a small wash bucket in our suitcases to avoid high priced cruise ship laundry services) and hang dried it in the bathroom to wear the next day.I got this as a gift for my friend in the XXL size, she's 5'7" and weighs 220 lbs. I thought it was a little big on her. She could actually go down one size. Since it's 95% rayon and 5% spandex, you could possibly put it in the dryer after washing and maybe it will shrink? We'll have to see. Personally, I like to wash my clothes on gentle and then hang dry immediately. Not put things in the dryer as I do it wears out the fabric.All in all, a great go to dress I think I will buy more for her as gifts. As a side note, this is really an all-season dress. You can wear in the summer with sandals or with a sweater/jacket & printed scarf in the winter. It would look appropriate in any season. The beck is also modest so when you bend over, no one gets a peep show! I would recommend you get this dress and every color you can find!
