The Spice Way - Pure 100% Sumac, No Salt, no GMO, no Irradiation, Spice Seasoning Powder 4 oz (resealable bag) (Sumak)

This was my first experience with Sumac, so I have nothing to compare it to, but it tastes very good. I used it to make some middle eastern style chicken thighs, and the dish turned out great. I will be using it again soon. The flavor is good, and the spice seems fresh.

Good quality, fresh flavored. Brightly colored indicates to that this Sumac has been recently ground not it's been sitting on store shelves for months or more. I like to add it to homemade salad dressing and cold salads like my Mediterranean coleslaw. Good on scrambled eggs with feta cheese too. Arrived on time, vacuum sealed in a foul pouch that reseals. I put mine in a glass jar with a tight fitting lid with a gasket to preserve that wonderful fresh flavor.

I had never used this spice before and I could not find it in grocery stores. The spice was fresh when it arrived and the package was firmly sealed. The taste was good and the color was very deep. This is a large package, more than I will ever use. Worth the money, especially if you cook with this spice frequently.

Extremely tasty :) I have used sumac before but just because of its benefits. The first time I am eating sumac because of its taste, not just its benefits. I literally ate it every day after it arrived.
