One of the absolute most versatile, hot sauces that I’ve ever had or tried absolutely delicious. This was also the best deal they sell them in the smaller bottles, but you get a much better deal if you buy the half gallon like I did. It was also on sale, but that had nothing to do with it not being on sale you still get the best deal. I would definitely buy this again. It’s one of the most versatile, hot sauces I’ve ever had and tried like I said before go out and get you some. Delicious.

Turned me into a hot sauce love. I used to only eat Chipotle hot sauces since I knew no better (not that they're bad or anything), but after trying this, I can't believe what I've been missing. I first bought a 2 bottle pack that instantly got eaten up within two weeks. First time trying this, I couldn't believe how pleasant the flavor is and how many things I wanted to put this on. At first, since I never really ate hot sauce much in my life, the heat sets in quick, but after a minute dies down to a nice pleasant warmth. I thought I screwed myself, but realized after I had more, my tongue got used to the heat relatively quickly. After that happened, I could enjoy the flavor even more. I just love this stuff. Was pretty scared when ordering the half gallon (as you can see from pictures, some people receive broken caps or whole half gallons due to the rigid plastic). Mine came in and thankfully was whole. Saved an 8oz bottle from my first order, and just fill it using the new half gallon I have now. Just perfect! I wouldn't recommend it straight up to people who don't like hot sauces simply due to the initial heat they may get turned off to. But if anyone you know eats hot sauce, or anyone would like to be daring with great taste reward, this is perfect, even to newcomers to using hot sauce like myself.

Thick and somewhat chunky with a sweet flavor -- definitely more of a condiment than a sauce. Very mild heat ( to my taste: 3 on a 10 scale, at most). To be honest, I expected the bold flavor, but was surprised with the lack of heat and the overall sweetness. Considering I'm a Louisiana guy whose dinner table carousel looks like a display in a Hot Sauce shop, I find that I'm using Secret Aardvark rarely -- 8/31/20: I have to move the "star" rating up to 4 because I found that mixing the Aardvark with an equal amount of Yellowbird Ghost Pepper condiment (good heat but a bit too smoky and bitter to my taste...) results in the absolute BEST hot sauce on my table, particularly for red meats, stews, chili, bbq, etc. The Ghost Pepper kills a bit of the sweetness while adding a good bit of smoky heat. Out-Freaking-Standing! This is one of those cases where "separately - meh. Together - wonderful." Experimenting paid off, for once. I just ordered another 1/2 gal. of Aardvark & 6 bottles of Ghost Pepper. Should be enough to get me through the upcoming winter...
