And the speed is more than 10 times faster than engravers that physically move the laser head. 100% portable with built in laser light protection and fume extraction, this has everything one would want in a laser engraver. The supporting XCS software makes the engraving very easy with built in support for hundreds of materials, and the dual laser (diode+IR) makes it useable for every possible material. In the 6 weeks since I bought his, I have used it on wood, brass, aluminum, glass, board and paper, with very satisfactory results at first attempt. This is one purchase where I got more than the ads and reviews made me expect, and I rate it at more than the maximum 5 stars.
