Q: Does the handle get hot?

The hand stays cool to the touch as long as you don't place it in the oven or a hot grill. do keep in mind this handle is made of wood so please keep it clear from open flames! I got a little carless and had the handle over a lit gas burner and while it did not catch fire it did scorch it.

Q: Can I buy a lid for my 10" fry pan?

If you haven't already bought the pan, you can get the pan with a lid. If you have, amazon sells many 10 inch lids. You might do best to ask amazon which of those would be compatible with that specific pan.

Q: What is the inside diameter of the bottom of this 10" pan with lid?

The bottom of the pan is 6 & 3/4 inches.

Q: Are the materials FDA approved for cooking?

Unfortunately I didn’t order the White Carote Nonstick Skillet. I ordered the Black/Granite Carote skillet. I am not sure it is approved by the FDA but I do love the way it cooks.
