My Dark Prince: The steamy contract marriage dark romance taking TikTok by storm Review: OMG WHAT A FABULOUS READ!! - Parker D Huntington and LJ Shen have written a humorous, passionate, fiesty final installment of the Dark Prince Road heroes and the incredibly strong-willed and sometimes ditzy heroines who love each other in spite of whatever befalls them. Reader already have met Oliver von Bismarck, and his childhood besties Romeo Costa and Zachary Sun. Having enjoyed their escapades and journey to happiness with Dallas who adores books and eating and the almost Olympic fencer Farrow aka Fae it is now time for Oliver. We know he is a Billionaire who doesn’t work and is a philander. But is he and does he? Briar Rose Auer has been in love with Ollie since they were children. He is her calm port in a life of neglect by her parents. She is his everything and then… it is the and then readers will learn and find themselves not being able to put down the book. Witty dialogue, pain, regrets, misunderstandings, moments of sheer levity… aka text messaging threads… lost family, found family and family in general… along with what constitutes and defines the word family. The authors have outdone themselves with this one. Finding pieces which somehow fit while readers try to presume knowledge they are lacking. A perfectly wonderful adventure we are all taken on. A reread is in order as are the 10 of 10 stars I would give it. Thank you both for the laughter, joy and oh my moments. Review: Enjoyed it - 4.5 My Dark Prince is book 3 in the Dark Prince Road series and I enjoyed it. This Sleeping Beauty Retelling follows Count Oliver von Bismarck, and Briar Rose Auer. Their story was emotional, and their friends to lovers turned enemies to lovers tale gave lots of drama, angst, longing, heartache, secrets revealed and second chances. Told from both the past and present day, the novel was one I couldn't put down. Briar and Oliver were such interesting characters. They were complex and gave us so much witty banter and undeniable chemistry. I fell in love with Oliver right from the start and loved him more with each passing chapter. My heart went out to Briar but at times I found her characters to be immature. However I loved these two together. We got the characters from the previous books showing up and I loved the banter with Ollie and his friends. The storyline with Seb was amazing, and I really hope we get his story next. This was an enjoyable read, and I would definitely recommend it to romance lovers. 🎧🎧🎧🎧 I listened to the audiobook, which was narrated by Andi Arndt and Christian Fox. They did a fantastic job giving these characters their own personality and bringing them to life. Their voices complimented each other and perfectly suited to the role for which they were cast. They gave us a great listening experience.

Sweet, Fun and Endearing Romcom
This lovey romcom is infused with neverneding FUN! Just a word of caution: you WILL BE thoroughly ENTERTAINED the entire ride! They are fun and sweet and at times heartbreaking! The story is filled with ENDEARING moments that are built in the author’s true spectacular fashion - full of magic and precision. Ones where a simple conversation suddenly brings out something so real and UNEXPECTEDLY HUMAN! A signature move I always fall for so eagerly❤️ Not often do you find a book where the secondary characters shine so brightly! One of them is my absolute favorite in the book! The PLOT TWIST was absolutely FABULOUSLY done! They got me! And that always leaves me Cheshire-cat satisfied!!!! The plot twist at the end was really cute also!!!❤️ I love when all threads are tied up neatly at the end❤️ and seriously cheers to that character who keeps saving the day! My favorite quote : “Don’t be clingy.” “No promises.” POV is everything😍 I LOVED everything WATER in the book. Water was fun, it was steam, it was cruel, but it was also nostalgic….. and that SHOWER SCENE 🔥🔥🔥 I say no more!

My lowest rating Dark Prince Road book so far
I found the book’s premise, which revolves around childhood sweethearts who are now adults with one suffering from memory loss due to a recent trauma, somewhat implausible. While the audiobook narrators were excellent, and there were some hilarious moments, I found the main characters’ relationship to be problematic for the entire first half of the book. I also disliked the lack of communication and miscommunication throughout the story. Below I’ve included some of my thoughts that I wrote down while listening to this audiobook - Childhood sweethearts Briar and Oliver separated during college due to an unspecified reason (revealed later in the book). - Oliver frequently lies to Briar, especially during the first 40% of the book, due to her memory loss. The book’s explanations for this are weak and feel like a convenient excuse to support the storyline. I’m not an expert in memory and brain injuries, so I can’t say for sure if a doctor would recommend such a treatment for Briar’s recovery. However, it does seem unusual. - Briar is an environmentalist, but Oliver doesn’t seem to care about her passion. He dismisses it and suggests that their children could live on Mars someday. Briar’s POV chapter reveals her passion for this cause during the beginning of this book. - At 40%, I would rate this book 2 stars. The audiobook narrators’ performance and Dallas and Romeo’s humorous remarks are the only redeeming qualities. I genuinely dislike Briar and Oliver’s relationship, and I hope some explanation is provided soon… - The book starts to improve after the 45% mark. I laughed out loud at the “Love is an open door” conversations (IYKYK) and many other funny moments began to appear. My rating gradually increased to 3.25 stars - One reason I’m still frustrated with the overall storyline is the lack of communication and miscommunication between Briar and Oliver. I believe this was used as a weak plot device because childhood friends who turn enemies and then lovers again are probably often good communicators as adults. They’re more mature and have a strong bond as children and teenagers, and they communicated well during that time, so why wouldn’t they as adults? - This is probably my least favorite book in the trilogy, and I’m disappointed because I was really looking forward to Oliver’s story

The book cover was badly messed up and I had to use tape to prevent further deterioration

Trope include amnesia and second chance Ollie and Briar. This gave great depth to Oliver. The chapters went back to his teenage years. Oliver and Briar might well be my favourite on DPR. Don’t let the amnesia part scare you off. There is so much more to this book.

As always you are remarkable in delivering the story. I was unable to drop down the book till i complete to the end . It’s full of twist and turns and you have proved that we don’t need external villains to derail our life , our mind is the biggest villain and our strong hero . Thanks for this wonderful story

This is one of my favorite authors and she has outdone herself in the third installment of this series. Love the couple and the side characters are hilarious. The witty banter throughout the texting is absolutely humorous .The heartbreak is worth the HEA.
