Kick-Out Grip for MagSafe, Adjustable Kickstand for Portrait or Landscape, Magnetic Stand, Black - Black

I had the original MagSafe pop socket prior to this and loved it until I got this new kick-out one!! It gives more stability when using it as a stand than the original pop socket in both horizontal and vertical positions. Size and comfort are still that of the original pop socket as is the ease of swapping the pop tops. The magnetic grip is just as strong as the original as well and easy to grip on my case. I like that they have a few base colors but would love to see more colorful designs in the future!

Has three uses for me, popsocket grip, stand horizontal and vertical and when the stand part comes out it can be held comfortably that way too. It is made for MagSafe devices so it doesn’t come with a sticker to peel off like other pop sockets. It comes with a MagSafe magnet to put inside or outside your case but it wasn’t strong enough for what I’m using it for. So I just super glued it onto my case. Using it for my phone sized ereader. It’s cute, aesthetically sleek and feels very sturdy, the hinges are strong too.

Bought this as a gift, and I was able to observe it as I set it up for the person I got this for. I have to say that I may end up getting it for myself. This feels exactly the same as a traditional popsocket, and the advantage of this popsocket is that you can take it off the magnet and easily charge it on a wireless charging pad or magsafe. If you have multiple covers, you can also easily transition and stick it to that (you would need the magnet for it to stick to however). The quality seems sound and as durable as the original popsocket. I like to spin my phone with my current popsocket, if I get this, I may do it a little bit less, but it seemed pretty sturdy. The whole purpose of a popsocket for me is so that it is easier to hold my phone, and that is what this does.

Overall, I like this grip/stand. It’s a definite improvement over the standard PopSockets that you can only use as a kickstand when the phone is on its side. This gives you the added functionality of standing it on end. I also like that it sticks to the phone magnetically, which makes it easy to remove to charge wirelessly. You just have to be careful because the magnet does let go sometimes, such as when you’re pulling the phone out of your back pocket, or when you’re holding it by the PopSocket and move quickly or bump something. Decisively don’t depend on it to hold fast in a risky situation, like taking a photo out the window of a moving car, or high above a hard surface. I got the silver color and it looks and feels high quality. All and all, I really like it. We’ll see how long it lasts. Especially for the price, which is pretty expensive for what you get.

I got this PopSocket MagSafe kick-out grip because I really wanted to be able to MagSafe charge my phone and still have a PopSocket to hold onto. I was honestly surprised by how well this works. I’ve used the O-Snap grip from another brand before and while it’s super thin and also MagSafe compatible, it’s just not as comfortable to hold. This one actually feels like a real PopSocket, way more comfortable and easier to grip. It feels really sturdy and secure, and I use it every single day. The only small downside is that when my phone is MagSafe charging and I pull my phone off, the PopSocket will sometimes stay stuck to the charger and I have to manually take it off. Not a deal breaker, just something to note. Other than that, I really like it and would definitely recommend it if you want MagSafe charging without giving up a PopSocket.

I got a new phone which means I needed a new case and I realized it had a Magsafe ring on it. I had never used any of the magnets. I got the Kick-Out grip and I use it pretty much non-stop. The case I have is slippery and this pop socket means it never slips from my hands. I can kick it out into any position to watch a show and it fits perfectly into my vent mount in my car. I feel like the price was a little high, so try to find it on sale. So far the magnet has not failed at all. It feels secure even when I spin the socket into another position. Use two thumbs to slide it off rather than yank it. The opal color is nice, it's comfortable to hold. I have no complaints at all and I actually love this thing.

So much better than a regular Pop Socket. The fact that it could be a vertical stand makes it a game changer. The hinge is solid and I can stand my phone on virtually any angle because of it. Only time will tell how this hinge will hold up, but right now, it's great. I like how neat it looks. Apart from the hinge, it just looks like a regular Pop Socket. I'm definitely taking this with me on my next trip.

Both a great and a not-so-great product. Probably deserves 2 stars because it's expensive to only last 4 months, but I'm giving it 3 because I loved every second of it till it ripped. Really love the kickstand aspect, being able to prop my phone at practically any angle is amazing, and the metal kickstand hinge is super sturdy and stiff - in the last 4 months I haven't noticed any loosening. If only soft plastic was as durable. Unfortunately the soft plastic of the collapsible center piece has ripped along a seam making it difficult to hold without it collapsing along that edge.
