Vera Cruz Midnight King Size Cigarette Tubes (200ct per Box - 5 Boxes)

I felt that this product deserved some kind of a review, but you RYOers out there looking at this know what this is all about. It's a high-end, charcoal-black papered tube; often used by the Amish to circumnavigate the restriction against white clothing (please correct me if this is not 100% correct in the comments!). Moderate taste, but as you know it depends entirely on the tobacco you're using, so you will have to give it a try for yourself. People rolling flavored pipe tobacco will likely not notice, where people rolling Bali Shag White should detect something.Expect people to often ask you what you're smoking - the perfect opportunity to explain your reasoning for RYO. Health, economics, taste, all valid!Happy smoking!

Liked the individuality of these, however. ==== ,they were hell to use on my elect. Machine. Very difficult to use. I spent more time trying to get them to fit on machine, and usually wound up ruining them, and I still have 4-1/2 boxes out of 5 left. Awfully hard to get them to work like other less expensive ones.....these were just a fraction too small...too bad

I though maybe I would have different results with these since I have been rolling a long time but as others have said they are terrible. don't fill all the way and the end rips in the powermatic 2. In case you are stuck with these, I figured out that if you don't put all the way on (so as to avoid the rubber stopper) you can get them to work without ripping but they still don't fill right. Also, this severely effects my roll time, no way I can get my normal carton per hour having to adjust them in such a way.It is unfortunate as they are really cool looking, but don't waste your money.

These filters look so cool, it took me weeks to come to terms with the fact that they just aren't that great of filters. I've used dozens of cigarette filter tubes and these are the only ones where I've had an issue with the tobacco not filling up where the filter starts. I even tried setting the machine to 100's setting, but it still didn't help, there was still a huge gap between the tobacco and the filter.

At first it was difficult to use them since they are my first tubes for rolling my own cigarettes but after getting used to using them it's gotten easier not to rip then apart while filling them. I use them with a 3 cigarette filling machine from amazon where it's a manual use and finding the right amount of filling is key, yeah it takes about an hour to get 20-30 rolled but they look great and elegant once you have them stuff and in a personal case.

I really like these. Aside from looking cool, they also give good filtration, and are easy to stuff. Sturdy without the paper taste being too strong. I'm not all that long into RYO, but these are the third brand I've tried, and these are by far the best. Zen (even the light ones) was way too harsh for me, and Premier were OK, but these are better.

I really like these but for some reason the ends rip off every time with my loader , dose not do that with some other brands I have , can't figure it out.

The Vera Cruz Midnight filters do look amazing. They burn well, but they do not fill well at all. The Zig-Zag original filter tubes I usually get are not only cheaper, but they roll at least 10x better than these. I do not recommend if you want a quality cigarette.
