I must admit that I am very pleased with California Naturals Coconut Shampoo. For the first time, I have found a shampoo that is both clean and gentle, and at the same time, it gives my hair a refreshing feeling. The fact that it is 99% natural was a strong point for me, but the biggest and most surprising point was that it really cleans well without taking away my hair's natural oil. The smell of coconut is gentle, and it is very nice. It does not smell very strong at all, just a fresh and light tropical scent that is very calming during the shower. I have a problem with dry scalp with many shampoos, especially with those that are labeled 'sulfate free', but this one has so far left my scalp feeling and being calm and relaxed. There was no itchiness, no flakes, just soft and clean hair. What I love the most is that it is vegan and is free from parabens, silicones and all the other ingredients that I usually try to keep away from. After every wash, my hair feels smoother and healthier. Even my ends feel softer which is not the case with other brands that I usually do not notice right away. It is amazing for both men's and women's hair and I believe that it would be appropriate, in the long run, for any hair type. I have made up my mind to switch to this as my daily shampoo and will be trying out more products from California Naturals. It feels good to use something that is not only good for my hair but also for the earth. Highly recommend.

Smelled good during the wash, felt good in my hair, made my hair soft and shiny. Unfortunately I'm returning it because unlike my old shampoo, it made my hair feel dry. It was soft and shiny but dry. Also when I didn't wash my hair for a day longer than usual (washed it on Thursday and then on Sunday), my hair smelled bad and felt oily. I wanted to like this shampoo because it has a better yuka score than my old shampoo and less chemicals, but I just don't. For the price it's definitely not the worst I've seen but far from the best

Finally! An affordable natural and safe option for hair care. Washes hair very effectively, and leaves it soft. Super easy to use and have neber had issues with the application. So much better then other shampoos that are loaded with random chemicals

I'm quite happy with this shampoo. The fragrance isn't overwhelming, and my hair feels clean without any artificial-chemical coating afterward. Might try the Light & Gentle version next time, but as far as buying again, so long as they don't change the chemistry of the product, I'll probably be a longtime customer. Took a t star away because it requires two to three pumps to do a truly thorough cleaning. But again, I'm happy with it. DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING, please! :D
