I wanted real macarons. I am glad I found these. They are absolutely delicious!. Very flavorful and rich. As I was writing this I had to pause and get me a macaron. They are addictive. Wish they weren't so expensive but it's a very special treat, and it's best to keep it this way and not eat too many, and the enjoyment is much greater. Love them very much and they are very well worth it. Being luxurious once in a while is wonderful. They are also packaged nicely and make a beautiful gift. I keep mine in the fridge but of course they won't last very long. Review: On a whim I decided to order these. I've seen a lot of pictures of people in high end restaurants in Paris with a plate of macarons in front of them and they looked so decadent. They arrived quickly and found them to be in individual ziplock bags. Not in a cheesy way. A professional, easy to open way. I make comment about this because it is a nice change from the automated heat-sealed cellophane wrappers you see on everything else. Inside is a little card with color pictures showing what each flavor looks like if you wanted to dive for your favorite. I went for a random choice and picked caramel. It tasted just like one of the caramels I get from a local shop. Very delicious. The cookies(?) were soft and moist; the filling very creamy and sweet. I then went for the hot pink one - one of the berry variants. Again very soft and chewy and delicious! At roughly $2.50 each, they're not cheap. I can't say how big their operation is - whether it's a mom & pop type shop, or a branch of some nameless MegaCorp, but they are good. There is no ingredient list, so I don't know how bad they are for me, but I don't care! It does say that they will last approximately a week if not refrigerated and up to 6 weeks if kept in the fridge...as if they'll last that long! They were not shipped in any special packaging for perishable food items. But, shipping to Montana in the middle of winter, you don't need anything special...as long as you don't care about it freezing! How they ship them in the middle of the summer, I don't know. It would probably be worth communicating with them to discuss this topic when summer approaches.

My best friend loves macarons and she loved this gift! First - great box and presentation. Second - Each macaron.is individually wrapped Third - TASTE! She commented on the freshness and how good they tasted. Because they are individually wrapped, the flavors aren't muddled. Fourth - Variety. She enjoyed that she got to try new flavors.
