Works but ensure you have CHP340 Driver
This arduino clone works well having similar footprint and functions. However to help alleviate some headaches I faced with arduino. First ensure that you have a CHP340 driver installed on your computer. Second ensure you choose the proper board settings Arduino Nano processor ATMega328 Now for me this is what helped. When trying to flash the code onto the nano, pull up serial monitor prior to doing it. For some reason without serial monitor, I couldn't program the nano. With the serial monitor up I could. It would say connector failed but still flash the code on.

Will buy from here again

Usefull
Had two of them wired up for a communications project in nothing flat. both worked well. The included cables are nice to have, but are a little stiff. Finding multiple Macro USB cables is tricky. The Mega p328 processor is a real workhorse and goes back many years in Arduino time. Also used in many cars. The NANO board is like a small UINO board and the price is right.

P I T A to get this Nano board to communicate.
I've used these boards for lots of projects for model railroad and they work well. I unboxed a Nano I purchased in 2023 (now end of 2025) and had issues downloading code to it using the Arduino IDE 2.3.6 . I could see that the serial monitor was running, because there was data being transmitted from the Nano to the IDE right out of the bag, which could be the blink program I've seen others write about, preloaded on the board. I did download and force an update the CH340 driver as part of the trouble shoot, but I don't think that was the fix to get it to communicate. I ended up using "Arduino AVR boards by Arduino" in board library,, selected "Arduino AVR - Arduino Nano" in board manager, "ATmega328P(old bootloader)", programmer set to AVRISP mkII. What seemed to make it work was selecting download in the IDE, and at the end of the compile, push the reset button on the Nano before the IDE showed downloading. At that point, I code see the RX LED flashing on the Nano indicating the new code downloading. After that, I could update and download code to the board without pressing the reset on the board. I was thinking of making the star rating a 3, but the board works once you get done fiddling with the software setting on the computer. YMMV

Still holds up after a year of daily use.
Been using this as part of a device that has been working almost daily for over a year now. The usb port makes it easy to program, and the speed is sufficient when paired with a stepper motor driver. Overall, it's a good fit for my use case and still functions well despite almost daily power cycles for a year. While I wouldn't say its worth getting at full price, it's definitely worth keeping an eye out while its on sale.

They work!
Having bought these and another cheaper set from another supplier, I'm giving these 5 stars because they worked. All three of them worked beautifully.

Amazing price, just needed drivers
In the Q&A section someone suggested googling "arduino nano CH340 driver" which I did. Found the drivers, after installing, the online Arduino IDE (with local windows 10 plugin) was able to detect the boards. Uploaded a quick blink + serial write back sketch, and it uploaded fine. The led is blinking, it's writing back to the serial port so I can read from within the IDE. For $14 for qty 3 this is an amazing value. I went with this one since it had the extra USB cables. I have bought the individual components from Arrow.com for the ATMEGA328P plus the 16Mhz crystal, and caps in order to cheaply deploy local projects. But, even that route with the quantity discounts where the atmega chip is $1-2 bucks, and the other parts are 10-50 cents, it still comes out to around $3 bucks and that doesn't include solder, time, or usb connector, or ftdi chip or even the pcb. Also, since I'm doing through-hole soldering, the atmega chip is nearly the size of this board. All things considered this board is much more compact than my $3 boarduino. When considering that, and needing to burn the bootloader on the raw atmega chips, compared to this is all completely done and ready to go. The extra $2 per unit is insanely cheap. Super stoked to have given these a try.

Use the latest Arduino IDE
First attempt at downloading was unsuccessful. I was using an older version of the Arduino IDE (1.0.5) on a Raspberry PI 4. I was powering the Nano via the USB port. The USB to serial chip was instantly recognized and provided a serial port to use. Almost all Arduino clones are using the CH340G device. I was getting a "programmer not responding error" every time I tried to upload. The webs were recommending to use Old Bootloader setting, but I did not have that as an available option. I downloaded the latest Arduino IDE forLinux 32-bit from arduino.cc and installed it. I first tried to reproduce my original error using Board: Nano, Processor: 328P, and Programmer: Arduino as ISP, but it worked the first time using the latest Arduino IDE(1.8.7?). I received my Nano boards February 14, 2020. I do not know if I have the new bootloader or the old one, but I know that I DID NOT have to select the old one under Processors. Even if you do have the old bootloader, you could always update it if it is an issue. I am very happy with my purchase. The visual quality is as good as I could ask for at any price. I think there may have been some flux residue around the programming header, but if that's all I can complain about then they must be pretty good. Each Nano was individually boxed.
