Aluminum Resistance Band Bar, 3-Section Detachable Heavy Duty Workout Bar for Resistance Band Exercises, Strength Training, and Home Gym

These bands a somewhat of a step up from the ones I had been using from a different brand. The smaller of the two has about 50lbs more resistance than the similar sized one from the other brand and you can really feel the difference. The larger one is actually wider than my current bar can accommodate, so I guess I’ll be shopping for a bigger bar soon. It would be nice if the bands had the resistance levels printed directly on them, but ten seconds with a Sharpie took care of that anyway. The bands came folded with high quality rubber bands on them. I can’t remember the last time I was impressed with a rubber band, but these are really nice and I actually plan to continue using them for storage. The bands have a somewhat “slick” feel to them that allows them to glide well across my back during chest presses, but doesn’t leave any residue on my shirt. I’m building a new ground plate soon and I’m excited to see how well they work with it. I received this item for free through the Amazon Vine program in return for my honest impressions.

The Geku aluminum resistance band bar is an excellent product, very sturdy and well made, certainly the best at its price point, if not at any price point. The hooks enable me to change bands very quickly, and the bands stay on. The hooks are quite wide and I even managed to use my 3 3/8 inch wide orange AmStaff band with the hooks. I should also like to point out that the Geku company is a pleasure to deal with; they are very committed to customer satisfaction. I had previously purchased the same bar through Amazon, and there was a flaw with the tread on one of the knurled parts. I contacted Geku through Amazon, and Geku sent me a message that they would refund my payment, and that I need not return the product. They initiated the refund with Amazon, entailing no effort on my part, and ONLY TWO DAYS after my initial complaint the refund was in my credit card account. Such wonderful service needs to be acknowledged and rewarded. So I promptly ordered the bar again; this time it is flawless, and I enjoy using it. Needless to say, Amazon also exhibited its usual efficiency throughout the whole process.

Great.. I like the addition off the wheels for abs to swap out as well. The design of the hook moves nicely with the geku board. It appears to be able to take decent weight but I am not deadlifting at very heavy weight with this bar. I think it should handle it but others will have a better opinion on bands at 200kg point.

Very good bar which is further enhanced by the additional attachments that can be purchased separately. Good knurling for grip and big strong hooks for the bands. All comes in a nice protective case too making it very portable. My only slight criticism is that the hooks can loosen during exercise so need to be checked regularly as they can undo very slightly. Other than that a great alternative to more expensive bars.
