This magnifier is perfect for small print of paperback books as well as hardcover. The lighting is very good and has low, medium and bright levels. I like the fact that I can lay it on the page with some magnifying or hold it away a bit and get a bigger print. I like that it is glass opposed to plastic or vinyl material as they have a tendency to distort the print. I really like the functionality of this product and is well made. So far it seems work very well. It’s pretty lightweight but it is glass so it is probably a little heavier than other materials. I have had other products that are made of vinyl and plastic and just didn’t like the way they distorted the print. I would definitely recommend this product. I actually bought it for my husband because he was having trouble reading some of the fine print study material with his Bible. I tried it and will be purchasing a second one so he doesn’t have to keep looking where I put it.

it's OK but has one major flaw. If you want to use it whilst writing it only caters for left-handed people.

Love it, great handle, Magnifying is clear and very good, Light weight, light it bright but not obnoxious, fold ups nicely and comes with a protective pouch.
