Good scooter
Hi have had this scooter for about a week and am very satisfied with it . It has plenty of power. I am still testing the range to see how far it goes on one charge but I have gone as far as 11 miles and the battery still showed full charge. It is a fast scooter, I have gone full speed (31 MPH). It is built well and sturdy. Good quality . I am happy with this scooter.

Fast, but slow takeoff. After 2yrs, it stopped working.
Edit: I wouldn’t recommend this scooter. I’ve never rode it in at wet conditions and always store in a dry cool temperature basement @ 50% battery. I fully charge about once or twice every month or two to balance the cells. After riding for 6 miles from full charge, the Y7-S started to strangely lose strength in power. At about 49V’s on a level straight road, it stopped working and will not turn back on. I’ll reach out to Joyor before I open up scooter and check for connections and any anomalies. 3/20/2024. 4/30/24; controller seemed to be defective. Unfortunately all of the connections from harness are heat glued to controller connectors making trouble shooting and repair a absolute nightmare. I replaced controller and throttle and now the scooter is back up and running BETTER than before. Torque is stronger and top speed is maintained longer than before. I have controller mounted on front of stem to keep cooler. Overheating from lack of ventilation probably destroyed the factory controller imo.I have owned several scooters now. First was the Segway-Ninebot ES3 then the Mercane WideWheel & the “Pro” version, Zero 10x, NIU Kqi3 & the E-TWOW GT SE.The Y7-S is the second fastest (top speed) after the Zero 10x, but near the bottom for acceleration/quickness. I weigh 220lbs.The battery range seems to be fairly healthy considering that I try to keep it steaming above 20mph. With some mixed hill and flat terrain I traveled 20 miles and still had nearly half battery left (47.1V).Ride quality is good. I initially thought with the knobby tires that the ride on pavement would be compromised, it wasn’t. It’s very quiet, yet makes just enough noise for pedestrians to hear me. The tire design allows for spirited slalom style riding. As I have spent more time riding, I’ve grown more confident in these particular tires gripping ability. I don’t ride on wet surfaces, so I cannot give an opinion on that type surface.Suspension is decent and probably more on the stiff end of the spectrum. The front sometimes makes a clang type noise, but I think that’s from extension not compression. The Y7-S doesn’t induce the type of brain shaking that the (only front suspension) Ninebot is infamous for, though nowhere near the comfort of the Zero 10x. Because the Y7-s has pneumatic tires, air pressure can be lowered to provide a “softer” ride without much compromise to overall range. The lights on the Y7-S are nice. For a mid-entry priced escooter, I think the lights offer a valuable safety feature beyond others in this class or below. The rear brake light is exceptionally bright almost on par with a motorcycle imo. The side lights are very visible too, though the blinker feature is best seen from the sides of the scooter and less so from the front and back because of the angle. Front headlight is okay for 15 mph or less speed at night.Build quality appears good. Fit and finish isn’t as nice as the E-TWOW or Ninebot, but doesn’t look rickety either. I’m not a fan of the stem mechanism for the height adjustment. I’d prefer a design like the E-TWOW which has a spring button that pops into height adjustment holes. The design of the Y7-S is that of a dowel screw built into the center of a clamp that’s tightens into a channel slot. Seems a bit fussy to me. Intuitive, but not as well designed as the more simplistic E-TWOW design.Grips are good and so is the display that incorporates the “finger” throttle.Brakes are regenerative/manual. I think this setting is set too high and I’d like to back it off, as it seems to come on a bit too strong at first. However, there doesn’t seem to be a parameter setting for regeneration brake adjustment.Overall I think the Y7-S is a good value and a good first scooter for a entry level enthusiast.

Really good scooter
The battery is great even if your max speed, u can go for hours and it really goes 30mph.It takes a bit time to reach that speed but it does when its fully charged, the tires are great never slip and hold really well on bumps, but be very carefull because the rims arent filled and therefore weaker to falling in a pot hole and can break

Exceeded My Expectations For An Unassuming Scooter!!!
The media could not be loaded. Where do I begin? I will start with the scooter itself. I've dealt with at least 4 scooters prior to Joyor. One thing that I enjoyed out of the box was it's lightweight properties because it was below 50 pounds given that powerful scooters are cumbersome to drag.Initially I was disappointed in the lack of a thumb throttle but after 4 escooters with thumb throttles I decided to give finger throttle a shot. Unlike thumb throttle it doesn't strain my digit after prolonged exertion on the throttle. As far as performance goes the torque is weaker(especially compared to an emove on it's softest setting) however the Emove's torque gave me panic attacks so I was happy with a mild acceleration. Eventually I developed the courage to hit second gear and remained at that pace. The third gear is decent but not practical as even cars don't go that fast due to city speed limits and even bike lanes don't give much opportunity to take full advantage of it.My main reason for purchasing this scooter was because of it's claimed range and it did not disappoint. On my first try I actually got 35 miles on my odometer leaving only one unit remaining. Since my purchase I have used it for commute in place of the subway or bus. Unlike the other scooters I was shocked to actually keep pace with cars as I was always overtaken with a typical 15mph.The product comes with a phone mount and a blue bag which sweetens the deal. I have tried using the phone mount and although it has prevented my phone from falling I couldn't keep it from sliding off the stem due to inadequate firmness and I haven't tried. I recommend a much firmer phone mount. As for the bag I loved that it was blue and is a valuable asset for storing goods reliably.Overall I strongly recommend this scooter as it not only provides the best value but is very user friendly for first time riders.
