Great for Concrete and Pavers in the PNW Rains
I recently used MasonryDefender Concrete Sealer on our concrete pavers and patio, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results. Living in the Pacific Northwest, where rain is a constant, our patio and driveway were constantly getting soaked and stained. After applying this Silane Siloxane-based sealer, the difference has been remarkable. Water Repellency & Protection: The sealer is incredibly effective at creating a deep, penetrating barrier that prevents water from soaking into the concrete. After application, I noticed that water now beads up and rolls off the surface, even with the heavy, consistent rains we get here. It's like our patio has a protective shield against moisture, which not only keeps the surface dry but also prevents potential damage from water infiltration, such as cracks and discoloration. Easy to Apply & Long-Lasting: Applying the sealer was straightforward, and the 2.5-gallon size was more than enough to cover our entire patio and driveway. It dries quickly and doesn’t leave any sticky residue or odd finish—just a smooth, invisible protection that doesn’t alter the appearance of the concrete. I’m confident it will provide long-lasting protection for our surfaces, especially during the wet months when they are most vulnerable. Great for Concrete Pavers: We also have concrete pavers in our backyard, and this sealer has been fantastic for them as well. The pavers no longer absorb water, which means no more staining or deterioration from rainwater. Overall: I’m thoroughly pleased with the MasonryDefender Concrete Sealer and would highly recommend it to anyone in the Pacific Northwest (or anywhere with a lot of rain) who wants to protect their concrete and pavers. It’s an excellent investment to keep your outdoor spaces looking great and standing up to the elements year-round!

Works as advertised and easy to apply.
After power washing my dirty driveway I applied this sealer. It was easy to apply with my garden sprayer. Once dry the driveway looks great. Rain water beads up, yet it is not slippery at all. Easy clean up with water.

Reviews are true
I read through most of the reviews, good and bad, and both sides are correct. I used the product on my concrete patio that has previously been powerwashed. The product does repel rain and water very well, I‘m happy with the outcome and will probably repeat the process once a year. It was easy to apply and only took me 10 minutes. The bad news is that I did get some staining due to overapplication in some areas that I sprayed twice. But that was my mistake. The staining looks like it is wet, it‘s not ugly or oily stains. I will buy it again

Best cement water proofer I've ever purchased x 10.
I've tried most every cement water proofer on the market. I googled best cement sealer and the ingredients of Silane Siloxane came up as being the best and longest lasting. I started with my resurfaced garage floor and I couldn't believe how good it sealed and beaded water. I liked it so much I did my whole driveway. No odor, easy spray or roller, totally clear, dries quickly and not shiny. Water just beads up and rolls away or evaporates. Cleans up with just water and no scrubbing. This sealer is amazing and I so glad I used it.

Works great after a good preparation.
Great product, better than most Home Depot sealer and less expensive. Ordered another 2.5 gallons to treat the rest of my driveway

Save your concrete (steps)
Absorbs into concrete well. Recommend a small garden sprayer to apply. Doesn't change the color of concrete

Doesn't work
Does not protect from oil. I have pattern stamped concrete. I followed the instructions. A month after application my car had a significant oil leak. The oil absorbed into the concrete like a sponge and stained. I tried cleaning the next morning when I discovered the leak but was only able to clean off what was resting on the surface. I would not recommend this product

Much smaller area coverage
The product works as described. But 1 G only covers a much smaller area. I followed the instructions and cleaned the concrete first, and applied the product. The concrete requires a significant amount of product. I used up all the product after two of the 6 ft x 12 ft concrete driveway slabs. I have purchased something less expensive ($25 vs. $37) but with the same ingredients from Eco Advance and compare them.

Le béton de mon vieux balcon (30ans) absorbait l'eau tel un papier essuie-tout. Regarder sur la photo!! L'eau perle sur le béton... Vraiment trop bon.
