These bulbs work as they are intended to work. Turns on at dusk and turns off at dawn. Just screw into the light fixture make sure it’s on and that it has to stay on permanently. This light is bright no flickering. Great value for 4.

Bought these to help us when we forget to manually turn off the porchlight switches. They work fantastically well. I've only had them a short time, so only time will tell if they have a good life span, but I've been very pleased with them thus far. They're bright and the dusk to dawn feature works nicely. However, I do notice that if you have lights too close together, they can sometimes interfere with one or the other turning on (it'll be too bright to trigger the sensor).

These work very well, it is wonderful to have light when I come home from work in the dark. I also like that I am not using electricity to keep the light in all day, and it can be turned off when I get home.

Work great still working years later outside

These bulbs are so great! Just put in your porch light and leave the light switch on inside the house at all times and the light will come on at dusk and go off at dawn! The thing I did to make sure the switch didn't get turned off, by mistake, is I put tape on the switch so it wouldn't get turned off!!
