This is a very nice quality shredder that does great at shredding documents as well as old expired credit cards. I’m super impressed with it. I love that it has an automatic function that cuts on when you put the paper in the slot. It seems powerful and able to shred a lot of documents without overheating. Super easy to use and I love the cross cut shredding. It’s small and fits perfectly under my desk.

This Bonsaii shredder has been great so far. The build quality feels solid, and it works without any issues. It shreds single sheets easily, but also handles full unopened letters and those thicker promotional mailers that come from stores — even the stiffer cardboard-style ones go through without trouble. I use it every week because we constantly get random offers in the mail, and it’s been really useful. The design is clean and simple. The only thing I don’t love is the gray handle — I wish it were black to match the body — but that’s a small detail. Considering this is one of the more budget-friendly options, it performs surprisingly well and is a great value for the price.

This mighty little shredder worked fabulously as my mother had overloaded her precious shredder, much to my chagrin. With a daunting shredding task ahead of us cleaning up 15 years of paperwork I found this available for a 4-8pm same day delivery. Since the larger size was not available I went with the smaller. This shredder did a great job of finely chopping up sensitive documents into little crosscut squares, a 30lb trash bag full over two 2-hour sessions of shredding. We were careful to stay around the 6 sheet limit although some were folded and tested the 6 sheet limit many times. Always careful to give the shredder a short break every now and then to let it cool down after some hard work. The smaller bin size helped prevent overheating after 5-10 minutes of constant shredding before having to empty it. Using the auto feature we did not have any issues with staples or the occasional more than six sheet limit. One call out is, you must be toward the center line of the shredder for it to activate. Occasionally pushing down the shredding and pushing them to the side to get a few more sheets shredded before having to empty kept the process moving efficiently. The top fits perfectly inside the base. No “arms” to extend or dust to deal with the perfect seal between base and shredder. In closing, this item is perfect size and power to handle your typical shredding if you don’t wait 15 years to start shredding! This is very durable and if you follow the recommendations of trying to maximize 6 sheets at a time, you will have a shredder that will last you a while and the fact that it cuts into smaller pieces is a HUGE asset.
