Philips Norelco Shaver i9000 Prestige Ultra, Wet & Dry Electric Shaver, Dark Slate, SenseIQ Pro Technology, Triple Lift & Cut System, 360 Rotating NanoTech Precision Blades, Quick Clean Pod, XP9402/86

I wanted the shaver that could last me the rest of my days(insert grain of salt). I was using a 20 year old Norelco. Nothing wrong with it, just aging & it was time to replace the heads. I wanted the best of the best. Current technologically advanced. I stopped short of the charging case. I didn't see much need for it, for my uses. The razor? It has been amazing. A quick & accurate shave. I have sensitive skin. So I set it to Sensitive & it hasn't bothered me at all. No irritation. It's so nice, I use it almost every day. Previously, I would shave every 3 days. My only gripe, & it's not a big one, is that the cutter is an attachment. It easily installs. We'll see if there's any long term Wear with that. In guessing it'll be OK? Overall, the I9000 Prestige Ultra is as good as I had hoped. Holds & charges, well. Comes with a nice, compact case & does the job amzinginly. Close, comfortable shave. Love it!

Best electric razor I have ever had (and I have had about everyone of them at one time or another!) I use Cremo Refreshing Mint shave cream and water; I rinse the razor often and clean it in the cleaning pod about every 2nd or 3rd day. I have been using it about a month now and it still looks new like it just came out of the box! Shaves very close with virtually no razor burn or blemishes left like I got with a blade. If you are tired of razor burn with a blade and still want a great shave that lasts all day, this will do it for you. I also highly recommend the cleaning pod and their cleaning solution. I only have to change the solution every 2 months so it is very cost effective for the great cleaning job it does and very easy to do! Battery life for me is about two weeks and I shave everyday. I was a little skeptical at first with the cost because I was already using a Phillips Prestige and wasn't sure it would really be much different, but finally decided to go for it when it came on sale for 30+% off. In my opinion, the Ultra is a lot quicker and catches the whiskers much better (my beard grows in all directions!), than the older Prestige. I also like the light ring around the head that coaches you on the right pressure - has made a huge difference in how well the razor cuts and how long it takes to complete a shave.

I purchased this EP9402/86 because I wanted to compare the shave to my SP9841/80 prestige shaver, I like them both , they both shaves really good, but I will have to say I think the new I9402/86 shaves really close on my face and I’ve used it on my head and it shaves my head nice and close a very smooth fast shave although i’m still in the testing stage to see if it’s a keeper or return it back. So far i’m leaning towards keeping it because I love how close it shaves my head and how smooth it is. Still adjusting to the shaving pressure with the light that shows how much pressure your applying, run time is awesome plenty of shaving use in one full charge, 5 shave modes I really like that because I can pick a different cycle depending on my shave, which I wet shave only because it gives me the best closest shave. Overall it’s a nice piece of equipment I’d give it a slight edge over the SP9000 prestige series with the closeness and how smooth it runs, I really like it. Although I’ll use them both. You definitely won’t be disappointed if you purchase one, give it time to do its thing and try a wet shave with shaving cream or gel with two separate passes and you will love it. I haven’t use a regular razor to shave my face or head in over a week because the XP9402/86 is kicking Azz that good and I use it everyday… pull the string and try it out you’ll love it. my rating 10/10

Previously I was was a foil electric razor use and started off with the braun series 9 pro and used that for almost 5 years and throughly enjoyed it. After having to replaces the head a few times it was time to change once again. After 5 years I wasn't as happy with my shaving experience so I decided I wanted to try the new Phillips Noreleco i9000 Prestige Ultra. I have had only one experience with a rotary shaver and that was when I was in high school in 1993 it wasn't great. Anyhow 2026 is here and I decided to see if Phillips finally has caught up. Yes. 1) Build quality for the i9000 is solid without feeling bulky. It's light but does not feel cheap. 2) Ease of Use: It is very straight forward on initial start up, it has so many features but easy to navigate through what you want to choose from 3) Shaving Experience: My first use of this product was 3/16/2026 after a fishing outing..needless to say wasn't ideal to do after fishing but I wanted to test the nano technology of the so called "smooth glide against the skin". With the dirty face it effortlessly glided across my face with out any major friction. I had a more than a 7 day growth so I used my braun separate trimmer to get it down....after with the standard mode this shaver easily handled my growth. The one thing that I was not happy with from the Braun Series 9 was not being able to get my neck area and just under the chin area...so I was a bit hesitant that the Phillips would be able to as well...I was pleasantly surprised that it was able to do a great job in those areas. 4) Over all experience has been really great and was able to get through shaving in less time and much better results than the Braun Series 9. I saw a review on picking the right shaver and I have to agree with the Youtube video that knowing your growth pattern is super important in picking the right electric razor. The Phillips is definitely more for the person that has different hair growth. The Braun series 9 not a bad product at all but the Phillips i9000 is better for my use case scenario. Negative: Cleaning the razor is more of hands on approach, the Braun series 9 is better in that regards, but that is not a deal breaker at all. Great razor, great product, if you have that unusual and different hair grown that is the razor for you hands down.

This razor gives me an extremely close shave without irritating my skin, which is the most important thing for me. Even after daily use, my skin feels smooth and comfortable with no redness or razor burn. The heads glide easily and do a great job following the contours of my face, including the harder-to-reach areas. Build quality feels premium, and it handles both short stubble and a few days of growth without any pulling. Battery life is excellent, and the fast charge feature is very convenient when you’re in a rush. The included cleaning pod is a great addition—it makes cleaning, lubricating, and disinfecting the razor effortless and keeps it feeling like new after each use. I’m not crazy about the app telling me how to shave, but it works well as a guide, especially for beginners. One downside is the trimmer head attachment, which I found underwhelming and not nearly as effective as the main shaving heads. Overall, this is a high-end electric shaver that delivers a consistently close and comfortable shave. Pricey, but the performance and comfort make it worth it.

He comprado varias rasuradoras electricas a lo largo de mi vida al menos unas 5. Tengo la barba bastante tupida.... Es la primera vez en mi vida que siento que la rasurada con eléctrica queda tan al ras como con rastrillo. Una vez que encuentras tu velocidad y presión la irritación es mínima. Es fantástico poder utilizar la mientras te bañas y con espuma. Hay algunos puntos donde tengo remolinos cerca del cuello que quedan algunos pelitos que cuestan más trabajo. El monitor de presión y ciclo es muy divertido. Por mucho la mejor que he tenido en mi vida. No es barata pero asume que una buena rasuradora te dura al menos unos 10 años...al menos mi experiencia.
