Literally plug and play
Update November 28th 2025: Purchased a new EE unlimited data sim card for my 5g router. It was delivered ON THE SAME DAY. It worked right after plugging it in. Download speeds of up to 100mbps. And the price comes down to about 11 gbp every month! Absolutely amazing. Update September 2nd 2025: Looks to be a server sided error? Major issue, internet completely stopped working yesterday. It's supposed to go into November 8th. I've contacted customer support at Scancom and they have yet to reply. I'll update this review again if it works soon. Original review: I just got it so I can't comment on the long term reliability of it. But so far it has been a breeze to set up. I just plugged it into my 4g router and it picked up the signal and gave me super fast speeds immediately! I'm averaging 100mbps DL and 25mbps UL. No fuss no problems at all.

Take a good hard think about this one before you purchase.
This sim would be an excellent money safer if you don’t mind having a new number or if you don’t mind not being recognized by EE as a customer. On the other hand it would be an excellent choice for mobile broadband in your house, it would reduce a typical broadband monthly bill of say £38.50, that’s my payment, down to £10 per month. I really needed this sim to reduce my mobile phone bill, but seeing I don’t have a land line and I’ve had my mobile number for near on 30 yrs, Scancom don’t port numbers, so I had to return the sim, Scancom don’t allow refunds on this product, but Amazon refunded me, I’m so grateful to them as £227 is a lot of money.

Nice and fast, no issues.
Used this to replace my old sim. Works great getting around 200mb/s, signal where I live is not quite good enough for 5G but this is fine on 4G.

Scam SIM card
Initially the SIM card stopped working after one week, but they sent me a new one and solved the problem. If you meet the same issue, just contact them and they can solve it within two days

Customer of 3 years+
I’ve been using Sancom SIM cards for over three years and I’m genuinely thrilled about them. I usually get the EE Unlimited 5G SIM (typically 12+ months), but this Black Friday I nabbed a cheeky deal, just over 22 months for just £212! Absolute bargain. I run the SIM in a 5G router for working from home and daily household use, and it’s been brilliant. Signal quality has been excellent, of course it depends on your location and device, but for me it’s solid. Setup is ridiculously easy, pop the SIM in and you’re good to go. In three years I’ve only had one hiccup, and their customer service sorted it fast. These long-term unlimited SIMs have saved me loads and kept me reliably online. Quick tip: test local coverage first with a cheap pay as you go SIM and a small topup to make sure the network’s right for you. I picked EE because it’s the best fit for my area. Huge thanks, Sancom, I’m a very happy customer!

It's EE but you can't register it.
The product is a SIM only, and simply plugs into a phone or as I'm using, a router to provide internet access. If you want to register as an EE customer, then don't, you can't! EE/BT could not connect to this SIM as it's a device that's preregistered with the supplier Scancon. They won't help either, so if you want to find out how much data is being used, you can't but at least it should be loads as it's "unlimited".
