BEST OF THE BEST!!!! Saved me!
Most comfortable neck brace of all. I have every kind. Getting 8 vertebrae fused in February and this brace has saved me. Just love it. Once in awhile someone makes an amazing product!

Highly Recommended
I broke my C7 vertebrae in an auto accident and had to have surgery to fuse C2 to T2. I ordered this brace/collar to replace the one provided at the emergency room, which had a broken adjustment strap. It arrived a day early, which was greatly appreciated. Put it on right out of the box. Easy to put on, once you have the back piece applied as directed for the initial fitting, in order to get it centered on the back of your neck. Just a matter of reaching up with one hand to pull the Velcro strap on one side, while holding the brace with other the other hand. Reverse the process to put it back on. No further adjustments required. This is no so called “copy”, it is from the original manufacturer Aspen. Very reasonably priced and readily available. I can purchase 4 of them on Amazon for the price of one at a medical supply store. I am ordering another one now, for swapping out when cleaning this one. I highly recommend this item. The stability it provides is A1 in my opinion.

For the low price, it provides good support, but also consider the TX and Multipost models as well!
For the low price, this offers a lot of support. However... I have found that after a week of nearly continuous wearing for palliative/compression therapy for a recent cervical radiculitis, my upper front chest area (thorasic) has become sore due to supporting my head weight and the pressure from compression (sitting in a semi reclined position). Doing it over, now that I know that 1) This series of collars fit well and works well, and 2) how much weight I would be supporting on my chest, I would have stepped up one or two notches and picked up either the TX model, which would have provided more support on the chest, or the Multipost model, which would have provided more support all around. In fact, I'm thinking of picking up the Multipost anyway. You maybe thinking that $100+ on a neck support is a lot of money, but considering the above factors, combined with how much pain relief this system provides, that is money WELL spent. I've also been sleeping in this, using a Contour Memory Foam Pillow (Walmart..$20) and I have found it to be both comfortable and supportive... far less pain then without it! If fact, this lower priced Aspen model (or the TX) is probably the ideal version to sleep in, as the additional support area of the Multipost may get in the way. As a final note, I notice that the cotton lined foam is starting to get a bit dirty (okay,,, oily... I'm a guy, we have more oil on our skin than girls, just a fact of life), so buying a replacement set of foam, in a combo pack, at half the price of what the foam alone costs, makes a lot of sense a week later. Sure it adds $15 to your price of entry to a support, but it will get you that replacement at half price... just something to consider (In medical facilities with insurance money paying for them, these foam supports are replaced every few days for hygienic reasons, to insure no skin issues occur...something that we need to consider and handle ourselves)

You'll need 4 hands.
Compared to other collars I've seen, this Aspen Vista seems to be well made. The one star is NOT because of the quality. But, good luck trying to get it adjusted if nobody's around to help you. Directions do show how to adjust it (somewhat), with another pair of hands helping you. You WILL need another pair of hands with this initial (once only, I hope) step. Also, turning the knob, and other adjustments, aren't easy if you've got hand/finger/joint problems. This type of issue hadn't crossed my mind since nothing in the product ad or reviews even hinted at it and while this isn't a common issue, some other folks might not think of it either. Once I use it, I'll update this review regarding it's effectiveness in helping the physical issue. ..... ..... ..... Update ..... ..... ..... I envy all the folks who are able to adjust and wear this collar. I can't. It cannot be adjusted enough to fit my ... relatively normal neck and head.. I didn't say "mind", I said head. It cannot be pulled snug enough for the back section to properly support the head and tighten the collar, leaving a lot of room to move. I actually got a EMT friend to advise and was told these are not easy to use if you have any mobility issues and are trying to put it on when you're alone. They were designed more for an emergency application by a trained professional. As I found out. No matter how it's adjusted or how tight the velcro is pulled, it will NOT restrict movement enough to be of any use to me. I guess a trip to an overpriced physical therapist for an equally overpriced collar is is order. But, hopefully it will result in a rigid collar that fits and can be put on without it being a major production. Try this, it's worked for some folks. But, try it before the time to return it passes or you will have "burned" $50.00 ... just like I did.

Comfy and sturdy!
I was sent a referral to an orthopedic store to get an C-Collar prior to my cervical surgery and they wanted to charge me $230 out of my own pocket and that’s with insurance already paid. I cancelled that and and found this same C-Collar from Amazon, same brand color, padding etc for $40. There’s no freaking way a C-collar cost $230 that’s going straight in the trash when I’m done with it. That’s just insane! Let alone the surgery deductible cost me $4K. I should’ve told them I’m from Somalia and gotten it for free while tax payers pays for it.

Works great, remember to pull out on the adjustment knob so you don't break the catch

Really helped me with disc bulge. Excellent and relatively comfortable much better than the uncomfortable soft collars. You need to get it fitted by an osteopath or physio as you need to be lying flat while adjusting to the right fit.
