Loved it, but stopped working less than 6 months after owning it. Edit - I updated my rating because the customer service I received after my review was appreciated.

The cleaner broke after 3.5 months of use. I didn't even use it every day because I forgot sometimes. One day when I really needed to clean my aligner, it just didn't turn on. Say goodbye to my $99. I think I'll go back to the crystal powder because it's more reliable-- It is effective and get rid of odor too. The ultrasonic cleaner leaves some smell that I don't like.

Product works great. My retainers are 10 years old and it cleaned them up pretty good although not clear like my brand new retainers I purchased, but they were 10 years old and this ultrasonic cleaner helped a lot to clean them up only for me to throw them away. Ha ha pricey, but did its job.

Please do not purchase this item. It started out fine and worked great AT FIRST, then it suddenly refused to turn on at all. It was a complete waste of money. Amazon has refused to assist in refunding or replacing the same. Avoid purchasing this at all costs. It's over priced and cannot be used longer than a few weeks then it stops working completely. There is no information on how to trouble shoot or fix. Poor value and a complete waste of money. I am so disappointed!

The Zima Dental Pod is easy to use and provides a great cleaning power for my Invisalign retainers. The ultrasonic cleaner removes the stains beyond the cleaning tablets and the retainers look sparkling clean. My pod unfortunately stopped working after months of my purchase. I contacted Zima's warranty service and received their response right away. My warranty experience was excellent, especially thanks to Lucy in support, who personally handled my claim and made the process seamless. Highly recommend!

My kids have been using the Zima Dental Pod for their Invisalign trays. Instead of scrubbing the aligners by hand or soaking them in harsh solutions, they drop them into the pod with the cleaning tablet and let it do its thing. In a few minutes, the trays come out looking noticeably clearer and feeling fresher. It has made their life so much easier. What I love most is how simple and hygienic the whole process is. The machine is compact, easy to store, and surprisingly quiet. The trays no longer develop a cloudy film or lingering odor. If your kids wear Invisalign or retainers, this is absolutely worth it. It keeps everything clean with minimal effort. Highly Recommend

This product worked great until it suddenly stopped after a few uses. I contacted customer support, and they were outstanding. Prompt response and shipment of a replacement device. They even upgraded me to the pro version for free. The new device is even better and working great so far. This company has customer service nailed! Highly recommend.

UPDATE: As others note, customer service at Zima Dental is excellent. Even though I returned this to Amazon, they are sending me the upgraded model. I do wonder if the ones being sold on Amazon are a known defective lot. Will update again with a review of the pro model once I try it. Received my cleaner on 12/28/25. Stopped working today, 1/4/2025. Tried all the solutions I found online (let it completely dry, including socket/plug; filled to min line, filled to middle, filled to max line; changed temp of water used). Several reviews note that customer service is good so hoping they see this! At least one Reddit chain suggests that the plug is defective rather than the pod, but I plan to return the whole thing to Amazon. We bought an off-brand copy a couple of years ago, and that one is still working. We just wanted a second one and this one had a coupon so I figured I'd try it.
