Really nice.
Came in mint, i love the product, but just FYI it doesnt cancel out background noise very well at home with kids running around making noise. Otherwise its great for and around the office etc

Maybe not cheap, but perfect.
I've never liked these "hearing aids." I used to have one made by Ja**ra, and it's sitting in a drawer somewhere. I'm pleasantly surprised. It's very lightweight, and the caller's voice is clear and loud. The noise cancellation is perfect. The guy I was talking to didn't hear me uncoupling the trailer with the fridge running. A small minus for the voice control, as it doesn't work very well for me. ( maybe it's because of my Polish accent :) ) I'm waiting for the software in Polish language.

Not cheap, but if you use one a lot, there’s nothing better.
Top quality construction and sound and function. Yes it’s expensive but if you use one a lot, it’s value for money. People don’t even know that I’m using a Bluetooth earpiece. Huge standby time and great talk time and quick charging. I use it mainly at work but I also use it around the house when I’m having a long conversation, because it means I can still do chores or make food or whatever, whilst chatting. It’s also really comfortable on the ear. Sometimes I forget I’m wearing it Really like how I can answer a call, just by saying answer’ when it rings. Also, you can use it to wake Siri too.

Very poor performance from the Legend 50
Very poor design of the Voyager Legend 50. Had nothing but trouble with it from the start: voice commands didn't work and people I called could not hear me. Sound quality was poor and too quiet. Bluetooth connection to my phone kept dropping. In the end I had to return it and buy another Poly Voyager 5200, which works perfectly when the old one finally packed up after years of faithful service. It seems many people had similar problems with the Legend 50 which could have been fixed by now with firmware updates. A waste of money all in all, and very disappointing from a brand that had been well-respected until HP bought Plantronics out.

Great headset but has flaws
I'm debating between 4 and 5 stars on this - on the one hand it's a 4 for some people, a 5 for others like me. I used a Jabra Evolve 2 (single ear cup version). Used the Jabra for over 5 years, the Poly replacement for about 2 weeks now. I'm going 4 because of the negatives. POSITIVES 1. Compared to the Jabra which has a headband, this is a lot more discrete with a smaller boom arm - I prefer that. 2. Mic quality is (according to other people who hear me) very good. 3. Noise cancellation is excellent - I don't know if that's "AI" or not - but it does do a great job of cutting out sounds. For example if I cough, it immediately cuts it out which I found incredible at how fast it did it. 4. The charging carrying case is really premium feeling bit of kit - not only protects the headset, charges it, can also dock-charge it. 5. Generally decent features to answer calls, mute yourself easily etc. via physical buttons on the headset. Overall, it's a solid call taking device - it does the job it's set out to do, and does it well. Absolutely fine with Teams. Now this looks like a lot of negatives but they're not enough to deduct more stars - except the first negative which might be an issue for people. NEGATIVES 1. Battery life isn't anything to shout about. Doing calls on Teams for example 6 hours-ish in a day - I get a 20% low battery warning by the end. To me, that's a concern because over time the life will get worse. While 6 hours back-to-back isn't regular for me, it does happen - and I'm also not in the habit of 'docking' the headset because I never needed to with my old Jabra! That thing still had good battery life even 5 years later. 2. The dongle (which I don't have any powered USB-C ports so need to use the USB-A adaptor to plug in) flashes blue while on a call. It's a little distracting. 3. The Poly Lens desktop app (not tried the mobile app) only detects the USD dongle (BT700) - not the headset itself! So I can't adjust settings via their desktop app. Frustrating but out of the box, the headset is fine. 4. It can be a little uncomfortable in my ear - the inner ear specifically. Sometimes I need to give it a little 'wiggle' to relieve some pressure. 5. The connection range isn't as good as my Jabra - in my house, the Poly disconnects where the Jabra would still be fine albeit starting to crackle. 6. Price is reasonable to me. It is a premium feeling device, looks nice being all black with gold/bronze accents (does not look like a hearing aid which I originally feared) and the carry case is a lovely touch. Opening and closing the lid on the case feels addictive (you'll know if you end up buying this).

Plantronics (POLY) is the Best
I'm a plantronic user for 10 years, its progression has been superb. I have bought near a dozen units for family and friends, no complaints, its the best bluetooth device on the planet.......

Time to upgrade ladies & gents!
I read the comments & am glad that Plantronics or Poly as it is now. Has renewed this great device to the 'Poly Voyager Legend 50 UC' redesigned I believe in 2024. My own Plantronics version still works but people moan about the quality of my voice.
