I’ve tried many matchas and this one nails it. It’s smooth, strong, the color is vibrant, and the taste is not too earthy, but just enough that I like it. This one is one of the more good quality affordable ones out there and the flavor is great. Would buy again.

One with Tea- Matcha Powder is simply superb! Not bitter, lovely green color, tastes wonderful. Price is reasonable and would purchase again. My gut feels better too, which I wasn’t expecting!

The tea appears high-quality and comes nicely packaged. It's a good, fine powder that easily whisks into hot water. I personally found it much too smoky in flavor in comparison to other hojichas, though.

I'm a beginner matcha enthusiast, and naturally came upon hojicha while getting acquainted with matcha, testing various brands on Amazon. While I do love the green, vegetal, grassy taste of matcha, I REALLY love the nutty, roasty toasty chocolatey taste of roasted matcha; aka hojicha. Now I will say I have not tasted any other hojicha brands to compare this to, so I really have no reference point for what is considered good, bad, or mediocre hojicha. However that being said I find this stuff to be a great introduction to it in my amateur opinion. It's affordable, tastes great, blends perfectly with a matcha whisk or electric milk frother, and in a pinch I've even used a fork! It tastes absolutely devine in a hojicha latte with milk and sweetener (if any) of your choice. My preferred method is to prepare it like matcha with the bamboo whisk, but add a teaspoon or so of cocoa powder and a healthy pinch of cinnamon! The flavors go together so well. The drink in the photo attached is a hojicha latte with peanut butter cream on top! Tasted like a Reese's cup in a glass. Heavenly! Just take some heavy cream and a spoonful of peanut butter, sprinkle of sugar if you want, hit it with a milk frother and BAM. Delicious, thick, luscious creamy peanut butter cream to dollop atop your hojicha and cocoa latte. Thank me later!

Best matcha I‘ve ever tasted. I love the green color and the deep taste that has a little of licorice flavor to it for me. I make my lattes with oatmilk and a tiny splash of maple syrup. Don’t even want to go out for lattes anymore.

You have to use two teaspoons to get the same amount of matcha flavor as one teaspoon from other brands. Misleading since you have to scan their QR code to get directions on how much to use. Other than that, the flavor is fine, it blends well, and it does have the normal energy increase.

Wonderful Matcha! I’m quite picky about my tea, and this ceremonial Matcha is bright green, with a delightful foam and aroma. All the right earthiness for the true Matcha lover at a price point that I would expect a lower quality product.
