Great value and quality
Great value for the money. Well built and durable. Installation is tricky. Simply attach each part loosely before tightening. I noticed others stating the holes didn't line up. Just barely finger tighten and that problem goes away. I learned the hard way as well. Great carrier, held our suitcases securely even taking some corners too fast. No problem.

Would recommend for road trips
Used this to travel almost 1600 miles round trip. Was secure, quiet (didn’t rattle), held quite a bit of our belongings, was easy to install, and kept our stuff dry after driving through rain. It fit perfectly on our Chevy Equinox.

Works parts didn't fit easily on assembly
So putting this together wasn't too bad BUT follow directions. Like most projects like this you don't tighten everything until the end. The cross bars at the end didn't line up perfectly which took a little bit of work to get in. I eventually had to remove two of the bolts to the main bar to get the two small cross bars to line up and the screws in. Then it took a few to get the screws I took out back in. If I had tightened the main bar screws all the way there would have been no way to get the cross bar ones on. Either way it was more of a struggle than what it should have been. However, it looks feels strong. It looks well put together and that it will hold up if taken care of properly. I have to main tests coming up and will update within the next month and a half. FYI you will need two wrenches to put these together. Even with the issues of the bolts it didn't take more than 10 minutes to put together. Update: Took this for a weekend excursion. It is nice and compact. I was able to fit a large suitcase and medium one laying down and a folding wagon. I only put these on so the license plate on my SUV could be seen and that I could open the back without having to take stuff off. The cargo seems a little shallow but does work. Next trip we are going to try crates and see how that works. Just trying different things to see what we like best. The silencer this came with worked great. We didn't have any shifting or play with the rack. It kept is nice there was no rattling or noise. We had a locking pin so we kept the rack on all weekend especially since we had no problem with parking space. We fit in the parking spaces and didn't stick out so instead of removing everything and putting things back on we just left it on. So we are very happy with the purchase.

Nice Basket
This is a nice basket, I am using it on my 2015 Ford Escape with a 6" riser. Without the riser, I would say it's a bit too low with weight and the exhaust position. I did apply Rustoleum rust reformer paint to where the seams are as in the weather it developed rust on each seam. Applying the paint seemed to help and keep it at bay. The racket straps it comes with are TERRIBLE. They catch on themselves and cut me multiple times. I recommend using different ones, I bought auto retracting ones and they are smooth and so easy to use. I like the addition of the net webbing to keep our tarp down. I attached truck LED taillights that plug into my hitch receiver plug since my tail lights get covered by the cargo for extra visibility as well. I also use a hitch tightener, which feels like a requirement as it wobbles a lot as do most things.

Fantastic product, but might make your trunk hard to access!
This is a great product that offers a fantastic alternative to roof-mounted storage systems, which was necessary for my use with a convertible vehicle. The weatherproof bag it came with works exceptionally well and carries a surprising volume of cargo. It never rattled, and the bag never flapped around during use on a long road trip. The only downsides are that when the bag is full, it may make your trunk difficult to access. On a Jeep Wrangler JT model, for example, the trunk door swings open, and a full bag makes the trunk inaccessible from the outside. This isn't a big deal, since the trunk can still be accessed from the inside, but you should be aware of this minor inconvenience. The other thing I'll mention is that the bag comes with tons of straps, and both when tying the bag down, and when opening the bag while it's in the rack, requires a lot of manipulation of the straps. It's great because everything is very secure. But you should leave anything you want to access easily inside the vehicle, as the bag is a hassle to get into while it's tied down. With these things in mind, I have no real complaints. It does exactly what I want, and the product is a great value for what you get. The extended hitch bar is absolutely essential for keeping the Wrangler's spare tire from interfering with the storage space. This product is exactly what we needed.

Amazing value. Most useful purchase.
Great value for the price! Very durable and fit perfectly on my 2021 Pacifica. This included all the necessary hardware for a secure fit, and all necessary accessories to secure and protect our cargo, like the heavy duty, waterproof duffel, which holds a lot!, and straps. Bonus that we were able to open and close our hatch since the rack is the perfect distance from the back of the van.

Seems sturdy
So far I am happy with this. It went together super easy for me. I had a little trouble getting it to slide in the receiver far enough to put in the pin, but some wiggling and lubricant and I eventually got it the fraction of an inch more to get it to line up. With the hitch stabilizer on there’s no wiggle at all. I put my whole 200lb weight on it and it still felt stable. It’s just for camping gear and/or bikes and I think it will do great. Will be using driving with it tomorrow but I don’t anticipate any issues. One note though, 53x19 measures to the outside edge of the bars, what you can fit inside is smaller.

Quality value
Well made of heavy durable materials, just take your time assembling it. I carried 121 pounds of cargo from Lake Erie to Fort Myers, Florida down I-75 without any issue using this rack.
