The only one's you'll ever need!
These really do work! And I mean nothing works better! The others are just sticky traps! That's it! These have a science behind them, that really attracts the bugs! It's going to shock you how many bugs this will catch so quickly! Others takes months! The quality is also unmatched. I've tried many many different ones before! Edited: After reading other reviews after writing this one, I realized one thing! It probably works very well if it's hung up right up under a ceiling light! Because that's exactly where all of mine are hanging! Bugs are attracted to the light! Hang right up under your ceiling light! Use the screws already on the ceiling light if you can't use the tack! Just hang it via the screw part hanging out of the light cover! Or remove the cover, and hang from the screws inside! Idk, but the trick has worked well in every single room!!! And someone said these aren't baited, yes they are! If you have used their ant baits, you know!!!

I think it works
Long story short, this solved our gnat problem but I have no idea how. I don't know if anything got stuck to the tape but the bugs are gone. Since it worked, I won't question it. So we had these annoying gnats/fruit fly like bugs that were only in our bedroom for the most part. There was only like 1 or 2 per day but they were those ones that drives you nuts by flying right in your face and you can never kill them, so we bought these. They opened fairly easily without much force or the string or anything breaking randomly. I took the time to unravel it and tried pulling it tight and holding it like that for a bit, but as soon as I let go then it just wound right back up. I figured it would unravel on its own after hanging it up, so it wasn't a big deal. (The pic with more light shows how it was out of the box the first night) We put it into our ceiling above our computer where those things managed to evoke the most rage in us and went to bed. The very next morning we didn't see any flies. I didn't notice any stuck on the tape either though. Its now been 4 days since putting the fly paper up and we have not seen a single one of those gnats anywhere in my home. I *think* one may be stuck to the paper, but not completely sure, it could be dust too. I really don't understand it. We had these flies for 3 weeks and no severe change in weather or anything else, so I know it was these papers. They're the only change we made. Also side note, it ended up unraveling a little bit after we turned on our humidifier last night, but otherwise it still hasnt really straightened out yet.(You can see in the 2nd pic, the darker one where more of the window is in the shot) Its only been up for 4 days and I just measured it to be about 2 feet, even with it still curled a bit. I saw some other reviewers not like that it didnt unravel completely. I don't mind since it's not like we need the extra tape space and I'd probably manage to hit my head off it somehow if it was longer, which I'm definitely okay with never doing (again). Ultimately we bought this to get rid of our gnat problem, which it did. Even if it wasn't in the expected way. So I'm competely happy with the purchase. And it does seem sticky enough that if they land on it they would get stuck to it. Also getting 8 of them for the price is worth it as well.

Terra Fly Traps...they work, no fuss, no muss!
at first i was leery I never had a fly problem before and choosing the right one was difficult. I chose the Terro Fly Magnet after reading other comments and & liked what I read. the first two tore at the bottom & were no good. I put up 2 more and just waited. low & behold after waiting 2 or 3 days they started catching the flies. after about a week all the flies were gone. All hail Terra Fly Magnet!

This is that Sticky Icky
Works great, traps flies no matter how much they try and buzz off. The only issue for me is shelf life. They tend to detriorate after a while but, not enough of an issue to remove a star.

Cheap and effective, if you have a place to hang it.
It's a strip of glue. If you've never used such a thing before, then this seems like an ineffective way to catch flies, but if you leave it alone for any period of time, you'll be surprised by what you find stuck to it when you come back. I don't know if it's "sufficiently" sticky, but I have multiple traps practically encrusted with flies so whatever it is, it is sticky enough. The big problem is that there are places I have an infestation but no place to attach it to; light fixtures seem best since flies like the light and will happily fly right into the trap but if you have no such place then you'll need alternate solutions. I'd take a half star away from the review if I could for that particular issue, as well as the fact that, well, it makes no bones about the fact it's basically a length of packing tape flapping in the wind and you'll be greeted with a strip of fly corpses whenever you enter a room which might be a little off-putting to say the least. I'd probably also not use this for anything save a plague of flies, the stray fly that might find in an otherwise bug-free home probably should be dealt with in a more manual method.

Not worth the purchase.
Hard to put up without a ladder and stick to everything. Need a special cleaner to take the sticky remnants off walls and cabinets. Did not catch most of the flys and nats.
