e.l.f. Halo Glow Powder Filter, Ultra-fine Finishing Powder (Deep Neutral)

LOVE elf products ! this powder compact is so easy and light to wear all day on the skin — especially in a humid city like bombay! i use the Elf orange colour corrector for my dark circle touch up, powder up with this one-shade lighter than my skin tone compact, and finish up with the elf setting spray! gives me an even dewy glow and it takes just two minutes to do this basic but powerful make up process!

Very bad product if we apply this powder it just has a shining thing but not compact

Prefer this to the Mac pressed powders. I like the price of ELF vs Guerlain. The face powder is nicer than Covergirl but not quite Hourglass. It doesn’t settle into wrinkles or sit in pores and it gives my middle aged skin a smooth soft finish and is not drying or create an ashy dried up look (Mac did that to me! Worst powder ever and costs more than ELF.) The compact itself is fine and I like it when a buff is included. It doesn’t feel like Guerlain but I also didn’t pay the Guerlain price. I just look like I did! (Well, I look improved and like I tried😅) The powder appears sheer with light color and coverage, it is fine and smooth, applies easily and totally knocked down the shine from a new sunscreen I’m trying. (Chemical not mineral-they all seem oily and give me a greasy unfortunate appearance. Mineral is best for me.) ELF has several great products and I keep discovering them. So far I like 1of their mascaras, questioning the elongating mascara, an eye liner, lip gloss and a blush.

Great powder and comes in lots of colours

I was fairly skeptical of this product fearing it might be too shimmery and would either make me look greasy or just highlight every pore and wrinkle. To me delight, it does neither! It imparts a soft luminous healthy glow while somehow still blurring pores and wrinkles and “mattifying” shine (I don’t know how a luminous powder can mattify shine but somehow it does). It’s not drying and while I wouldn’t say it’s super hydrating it did seem to help my dry skin feel better, normally powder makes my already dry skin feel like all the moisture is sucked out but this one didn’t. It did not get cakey or cracked despite wearing for several hours while feeling sweaty. You can control the coverage- from a light dusting with a brush as a setting powder or more mid/full coverage with the sponge (applicator sponge is super wonderful). I started with the shade “fair warm” because I didn’t want it to be too dark. It’s a little light on my skin right now because of slight summer tan but it didn’t look bad and was great for use on high points of face. I ordered “light warm” but haven’t received it yet. I think this powder is best for times when you’re wearing indoors or in lower light or cloudy days. I have a feeling in super bright sunlight it could be a bit much unless you’re using a sheer dusting of it. I haven’t tested it in bright daylight yet, but when I do I’ll try to update. Overall I highly recommend this! As a tip I’d say go one shade up from what you might normally wear, especially when choosing in between two shades, because the glow factor can make the powder seem a little lighter. UPDATE: Looks stunning even in bright daylight- no crazy disco ball shine just luminous healthy skin! Also does not highlight fine wrinkles or pores. Not sure how this product achieves this when even high end expensive luminous powders can’t. This stuff is seriously magical!
