I found these very interesting! There's a light crunchy sugar coating on the outside and the inside is like a soft jelly bean. The flavors are unique which is why I bought this one. I saw some reviews about the flavors and I don't understand at all.... I got no soapy flavor and these definitely taste like what the chart says, plenty of flavor. There is a flavor or two that are sweet, but if you take your time and don't eat huge chunks at a time it's fine. The lychee flavor might not be right for everyone since it can be a bit perfumy tasting in general (not just these candies). As for the price, I did think they were pricey at first. Once I actually looked into the story about the small business and looked at the history of the type of candy, I changed my mind. Be warned that getting them seems to take some time and mine arrived about 7-10 days after I ordered them. They arrived just fine in the heat too

I'll start this by saying, these didn't come sealed. You know how when you buy stuff from a grocery store, it has some kind of little safety seal on the opening to show it hasnt been opened before? This didn't have one. Not sealed at all (except of course it was screwed closed).Despite that, I still decided to try it.I would give e these a sold 1.5 in taste and texture. I was so looking forward to these, but I think their size affects the "cruch-chewy" factor.These are reallllyyytt small, and being so little the crunchy outside to chewy inside ratio is all off. It's just crunchy.We only tried two flavours. I didn't die because I ate it unsealed, so I'll probably let my kids finish them off. But they definitely are NOT good by a long shot 😂No mold tho like I've heard, so that's good lol.

The media could not be loaded. I can see the reason people hate it and people love it. The texture for me is really offputting, but the taste is really good in my opinion. I don’t like the texture. I really like the way it looks. It looks like a stick of a crystal which is basically what they’re aiming for. I don’t think it should be worth $21 I think it should be worth $10 at least. The colors look pretty weird at first, but once you taste them, I guess it’s OK. And it’s not sour at all.

Never tried crystal candy before this. NY kids have been seeing the trend all over tiktok and fb and IG. Suddenly they started talking about Silky Gem. So I caved and paid the ridiculous amount for this small container. 1st of all, the price, outrageous. 2nd, the texture and crunch of the candy I will give a 10/10. 3rd, the flavor lacks. I couldn't really taste much flavor of anything and it wasn't really sweet... like it was just like eating a hint of sugar crunchy gel. I think it could be executed better. They did give a sample of the sour glitter dust, that was actually pretty good and tasty. So thanks! Would I buy this again? Absolutely not. Would I try other products? Possibly, if the price is reasonable. I think people are just overcharging for things anymore.

These are a unique candy. The texture is crunch and silky soft all at the same time. My daughter loved them.

Genius to have influencers promote this product; even with all the crummy reviews I still was coerced by my daughters to buy this.The reviews were reliable, influencers were not. There is almost no flavor to any (super subtle) but not in a good way because the taste of the unflavored item is not enjoyable. The texture is really bad. Very little crunch it’s mostly the squishier texture you get and it leaves a bad aftertaste. Most bites we tried were spit out into the trash can. I would say “don’t do it” but I know that like me, you will anyway. Once you e tasted it though, you won’t buy it a second time, so there is that silver lining to look forward to.

Very pretty, smelled nice, nice texture, nice crunch on outside jelly texture on the inside, not much flavor. Not worth the price for the size of product.

It is crisp on the outside and a firm gel on the inside. I did not opt for the sour powder because I do not prefer sour candy. If you don't like lychee, you probably won't like these. There are more flavors included, but all pretty sweet and more realistically flavored rather than artificially. They are expensive, but it seems like this is not coming from a huge factory so that makes sense. The ingredients are also much better than typical American candy.
