I mean for a 140W why not right? This little guy has been cranking away tirelessly in my basement cracking away at 6-7 TH/s depending on difficulty. It lets me know “hey my screen filler is dirty please go clean it up” and has been literally “Set it a forget” with a bonus of warming my work room in the basement.

Love this little sucker! Had to try a few times to get it to connect to wifi, but after it connected and got everything setup, has been running flawlessly!

Updated review after many months, mostly still good but runs too hot on high setting and slowly melts the power supply connection. Highly recommend running at no higher than medium for extended periods. Previous review: This is a great little lottery miner that is quiet (nearly silent) and efficient, does what it advertises. I love it but had to take an entire star off due to the lack of the web GUI interface. Most of these devices allow you to type in the IP in your browser on your local network and get a web GUI configuration page, not this device, instead they force you to configure it in their phone app, quite the pain. This was a bad decision and the only negative I have for this device.

This my 2nd Avalon Nano. I have a Nano 3 for a it more than a year, and just got the 3S. The 3 still works pretty well. I do run it in medium mode though because high mode will heat up the power brick too much. I have been running the 3S in high mode since day 1 without any noticeable heating issues, which is great. However, I really dislike the fact the wifi module is not built-in anymore. In my case, the USB dongle provided doesn’t work. It is unable to connect to my wifi even though the older 3 never had connection issues. Luckily, I had an old Apple USB ethernet dongle which worked just fine, so I have to run it wired. But apart from that, so far it works pretty well. Would give 5 stars if Canaan had not cheapened out on the wifi module.

Works out of the box, set up was easy. I had it mining in a couple of hours. It’s been a month and still going. Shipping was quick from the seller.

This item worked for about 3 months and then stopped. I am familiar with computers and as a work around purchased an additional power supply and this item worked off and on for one more day. It stopped working for good after that. It is defective. It appears I have no recourse. I bought two at the same time and the other one is working as expected. please advise? retailer?
