I picked these up for use in a hip-pocket personal safety class for my family and a few friends. they are a good size for several different body types, and they were easy to use for both instruction and practical demonstration. These are an excellent economical option for personal defense, but check your local laws before ordering.

This is a good quality set of aluminum kubatons. They are light but strong. There are 5 circular ribs on the shaft that provide a good, positive grip. The length is perfect, allowing a full grip, my thumb seated on the rear flat, and about an inch of rod protruding from the striking side. The design is simple but effective, just like a kubaton should be. This product provides a last resort defensive weapon that is typically legal to carry in the U.S...check your local regulations though. Getting a two pack for this price is an outstanding value.The reason I rated these 4 stars is because the finish on the aluminum lacks in quality. There are several places on the tools where the color was already chipped off straight out of the box. The coating also scratches very easily from light pressure with the curved part of a paperclip. This doesn't affect function at all, but I anticipate the colored coating will wear out quickly with carry over time. These would be perfect tools if the coating was more durable.

I got these to be able to have a dual purpose tool. It has the ability to break glass but can also double as a self defense tool. The tool is made from aluminum and comes with a key ring. It’s long enough to stick out of your hand when using it. You also get two of them.The tool feels solid enough to ensure you can break through glass. It’s also small enough that it won’t add much weight to a key set.

While I haven't had to break any glass with these yet, it really is reassuring to carry one in my purse. They're sturdy (although not solid metal), fit well into my hand for an easy grip, and have a sharp enough point to be intimidating. I feel a little safer when I'm walking alone just knowing that I have even a small defensive measure with me.

Measuring 5.5”, with a 0.6” diameter, it is comfortable to hold in most grips.

They seem well made other than the rust on one of the rings. They are light weight and appear as pictured in the ad.

This is a non-lethal type of self-defense tool that you can carry on your keychain. If you have too many keys connected to this, it won't work as designed. It's pretty effective when it's on an extended keychain. It's easy to grip and hold in your fist. Other than that, this tool is anodized and milled perfectly. It would be nice if the moisture grooves were double the amount. There are no blemishes to this. My discrepancy is that the point is not as pointed as I needed it to be. The tip is milled at a 55-degree angle and should be at a 45-degree where you can make any attacker think twice. Lastly, this tool feels like a 6061 aluminum instead of a 7075 which is harder. I'll have to put it through some tests to see if the tip dulls if it's struck to glass. I can tell you this though that this aluminum will not break tempered glass. You really can't use this to break a car window. Tempered steel is the way to go. Overall, this is pretty decent, but I wouldn't trust my life on it if you're trying to get out of a sinking car. As for self-defense, this will be effective though once you apply pressure to certain points of a body.
