Triton T80Z Fast-Fit 7.5Kw Electric Shower - White and Chrome

Product is completely as described (white - 7.5KW), and indeed was straightforward to fit. Note that delivery is sign for - so someone needs to be in. Very good option for replacing a shower, as the water, electric connection positions are "adjustable". Comes with very complete instructions (in English). If you are new to fitting showers, do follow the guidence on starting the shower for the first time. If mounting electrics on the right hand side, make sure the live/neutral wires don't rub on the heater electrics top right (my electrics connections are on the left). This is easily solved by feeding a little extra wire through the clamp at the top (you only need an extra half a centimeter or so). Unless feeding pipework from the top you will need to cut plastic. These areas are marked to aid you, but it is worth taking your time, as the part you cut (the bottom) will end up having only a thin "bridge" left which would be snapped if you're not careful. I cut coursely but carefully with a hack saw and tidied up with a knife. Shower water connection pipe is (as you'd expect) plastic, but works fine with a compression (olive) fitting. w.r.t. the shower head riser - the distance between the wall fittings is adjustable to match any pre-existing screw holes. This was very welcome! The shower itself is fixed by three screws - one holding most of the weight behind the top knob, and two stablising screws bottom and left of bottom knob.

If you are looking for a no frills shower which is easy to install, then they don't come much easier than this.With the cover off there is plenty of room to sort out the pipework and the wiring and before you even start to put it on the wall there is a full scale template to use on the wall to give a good indication of what needs to be done. With multiple entry points for the electrics and pipework and the use of the template it really is easy. The shower itself is good quality and looks good when on the wall. The two controls, one for cold medium and high heat and the other one for personal balance of the water temperature are easy to grip and easy to turn , unlike my previous Redring which for someone with gripping problems, was pretty dreadful. There is an illuminated on off button which then keeps your temperature settings for your next shower On assembly the light clips into the switch before the cover is replaced. If you are looking for a shower with lots of bells and whistles, then this is not for you, but as a simple on/off shower with manual temperature controls,then this is good.

I bought this to replace an old Triton that was over 25 years old. Triton themselves recommended I used this shower when I called their helpline but it is slightly bigger than the old unit. This is good, in one sense, as it will obviously cover any marks the old shower left on the wall but if your old shower was close to the shower enclosure or wall, it might cause a problem. So now one of the shower doors does not open all the way as it bumps up against the shower. Not a big issue but something to be wary of. Another reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the included shower rail/bar was shorter than the one I was replacing. I tried reusing the old one but broke it when trying to remove it to put the new showerhead on. Two downsides to this are 1) I had to drill a new hole in the tiles and fill in one of the old holes but it's still visible and 2) if you have shower users of massively varying height like we have (4ft to 6ft 5ins) then the short shower rail doesn't really accommodate them. The shower was relatively easy to fit for someone who has never done anything like this before.

Fast delivery,great price,looks good.. Easy fit .. Heats water quickly, good flow.. Hope it lasts as long as the last triton it replaced.. Would recommend...but,just pointing out that this is a 7.5kw unit... If your looking for more power then a higher kW (and heavier power cable/fuse)may be required.. This one suits us fine...

Super shower.

Easy to fit, went into the place of the previous shower, although new holes in the tiles needed. The water inlet is easy to attach easy side, likewise with the power supply. Runs very well. Comes with the hose and new shower head, and bar for the wall, as pictured.

This is the second Triton shower I have had and as the first one I am very happy with it very easy to use controls very good shower head several different shower patterns.

I had this fitted from scratch (no shower in place before) by a professional electrician/ plumber. They said it was really easy to fit. I was worried about the strength of the flow of water as our water tank is on the same level in our bathroom, but not a problem with this shower. Lovely and powerful with 3 different types of flow from the shower head. Looks smart.
