Cane early! Was very easy to put on. No ammonia!! Really nice color. It’s a little darker, than I imagined, but that in now way changes how much I love the color. As a natural redhead, our color fades. So, finding a good color is always a plus! Definitely ordering more!

am very satisfied with this hair dye. The color turned out vibrant, even, and shiny from the first application. It covers gray hair perfectly and does not leave stains or patchy areas. The creamy texture makes it very easy to apply without dripping.

The reviews on this product are mixed, and I dont really understand how so I'm writing this to add my two cents.. While on vacation I purchased this from CVS because my grays were really grown out.. The instructions were very easy to follow.. I applied the clear primer, then mixed the developer and color together and began to apply to my roots. After waiting 25-30 min, I could see the color had developed fully and rinsed the dye off in lukewarm water in the shower then applied the included conditioner. My hair came out amazing, felt much softer than my previous brand, the color was a great match and all grays were actually covered! I did notice that when the bathroom was cold, the color wasnt developing as quickly until after I turned a heater on inside the bathroom.. but I've also noticed this with other brands in the past. After my hair dried, it did feel much softer, not as dried out as with the other brand.. and the color lasted without fading until the next time my roots grew out! I actually ended yo switching to this brand and the Toscana color, because its a more natural color and tone for my complexion! After 2 root touch ups, the color looks even nicer since I'm able to see it grown out a couple of inches, and it looks great in the sunlight! As for the "multidimensional" color, I didn't notice any significant miracles with the middle or ends if my hair because I've dyed it so dark the last 15 years, that nothing is going to add any highlights or dimension.. I do plan in using this and we'll see how it looks after the old brand has completely grown out, I can't wait to see my hair completely colored by this brand in the Toscana color. I had a great experience with this product and other brands failed to color all of my grays.. I was definitely impressed by the performance, the smell, it feels more gentle than my previous brand, and my hair doesn't feel as dry or coarse after using this 2 times. I hooe this helps anyone in the fence about purchasing this.. I may update this review again after more touch ups, and I think there are going to be some nice before/after photos too, as the color is more natural on me than any previous dyes I've used.

It ended up more of a brown color than i would normally use, but after it faded a little it did tone down the orangey color i did have to a nice natural red. Overall a very nice color, but the entire process freaked me out. It does not look like it's going to actually color your hair until you go to rinse it out. Also? Very little dye actually came out of my hair during the rinsing process. I don't know if it's supposed to do that or if i didn't do something right, but it definitely felt weird only taking a 5-10 minute shower after instead of a 20-30 dye rinsing experience.

I bought Clairol ColorStrong Permanent Zero Ammonia Hair Dye, 8.0 Medium Blonde, thinking I was being smart and saving money. Spoiler alert: I was not. I started with 10-level light blonde highlights, natural, dirty blonde hair, and about 20% gray coverage. What I ended up with is RED hair. Everywhere. Red. Not blonde. Not even close. Just a full-on fuzzy strawberry situation. I chose this dye specifically because it claimed to be zero ammonia and “less damaging.” Lies. Even without ammonia, it fried my hair. My hair feels dry, rough, and damaged, and I’m pretty sure I now need to cut off at least 5 inches to recover. Yes, I tried to save money by spending $12 instead of $120 at the salon, and I deeply regret it. This was not a “gentle” or “color-true” experience. It didn’t lift properly, didn’t tone correctly, and completely ignored the word blonde on the box. If you’re looking for medium blonde, skip this. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to look like a fuzzy strawberry, then congratulations—this dye delivers. Lesson learned. Back to the salon. 💇‍♀️🍓

I used this to freshen my current color,as well as color my grey roots,I have about 30 percent greys at my roots. This did not cover the greys at all,but,I give the 3 stars for the bonding treatment.

This color hair dye is the best one I’ve ever used! I have hair to my butt and I think I have tried every brand in a box out there! I like that there was just one color blonde to choose from and it’s perfect. The best part is the bonding treatment, I mean my hair felt healthier, stronger, more body and beautiful color. Oh, and my hair even smelled great after, no chemical smell at all!

I want this so badly to last but it's so hard to cover old white hair

I have used a myriad of hair colors, even from Wella, but this Color Strong is amazing. It provided the exact color I was looking for, was easy to apply, and really lasts without fading. I have reordered. (I must say that the price on Amazon is higher than that in pharmacies).

While the application was smooth it did not come out as the colour on the box. I went with the rose shade and it lightened my hair a bit. I’m already blonde so I’m not sure what happened but I’m disappointed for sure. Especially after what it cost.

Good colour. Awful perfume . At least offer a scent free option.
